I know a lot of people were mad that Sunoo was picked over K, but realistically I feel that Sunoo matched the group better. Not saying that K wasn't great but I feel like it wasn't going to be a fit for him. Thankfully he is debuting in the Japanese group from Hybe Japanese Label but a lot of people came at Sunoo calling him untalented and I didn't feel that. Sunoo has his charisma that compliments the whole ENHYPEN vibe.
I also think sunoo matches Enhypen's vibe? more then K! They are both talented so I don't get why people are calling sunoo untalented...
I'm happy that K is going to be debuting soon with the fellow I-LANDERs!!

we saw nothing because mnet edited a lot of things in so both K and Heeseung would lose fans. Heeseung was edited as a bad leader in part 1 and that's the sole reason why he didn't have confidence and turned down to be the leader of enhypen. I-LAND is hell. and mnet doesn't show the truth.
BUT IT REALLY SURPRISED ME THAT SUNOO DID NOT WIN AT THE GLOBAL VOTES. HE WAS ALWAYS FIRST IN THE GLOBAL VOTES SO I THINK A LOT OF HIS FANS THOUGHT HE WILL BE CHOSEN SO THEY WERE COMPLACENT, AND WE WERE ABOUT TO LOSE HIM IF NOT FOR THE PRODUCERS.

After rewatching iland you can see the other members never really thought Sunoo deserved to come this far or to even debut. The only person who was cheering him on during the show that is a member now is niki.... idk weird vibes
I don't think they understood the power of personality & vibe when it comes to being an idol. Sunoo is positive & shiny & sassy & it helps him with his expressions & his drive to do well. It's not all about perfect execution vocally, & dance-wise - not to say that Sunoo doesn't do well, but in comparison to his members I think this is why they didn't understand his popularity. Performance is also a communication with the audience, which Sunoo excels at the most out of all the members. It's like he's really looking at me through the screen being himself. Enhypen themselves realize this & have pointed it out that if it weren't for Sunoo they would have a hard time.

Only other person besides niki that believed in him was hanbin, but hanbin believed in everybody at the end of the day and barely got any screen time to showcase that so it barely even counts.
because of this I remembered Sunoo being eliminated twice because of the i-landers' votes but when the elimination was based on producers and global viewers he always got a good score and compliment. I'm happy that we're now seeing the relationship development between them. I love Sunki 😍

I think they made the right choice of picking Sunoo as you can see the meaning of enhypen, and the theme of island is connection & growth. Sunoo had great relationships with others and he tries to stay positive too even tho we know he had health problems in the past and he was still in a bit of recovery when he was in island, he showed how passionate he is, and he was from ground but he made it to iland without loosing the badge he was the definition of growth. He has great singing skills, he has great facial expressions and he doesn't lack in dancing too.
There's so many things I wanna add and say but I think this is enough to prove that having Sunoo as the last member of Enhypen is a very great decision, a decision that the producers will never regret, and I know Sunoo will prove to you all that he was worth of being choosen it may not be now but soon.
And he also had only 10 months being a trainee, they picked him because of his progress. And yes "he only gets first place when it's a global voting",that statement is true but let's not forget that he didn't drop or took off the badge. He can do sexy, charismatic, cute, dark and hio concept well. And even if he doesn't get center often or he didn't get many parts he still stood out when it's his part.
And this is also my opinion, I think K is more likely a soloist for me but I am glad that he's debuting as a Japanese idol under hybe. I'm glad he didn't give up on his dreams.

For me, Sunoo is the main character of this show. As we saw his journey, Sunoo eliminated twice but that doesn't mean he stopped but he bounce back stronger to I Land because he deserves to be in that spot. Enhypen will not be enhypen without Sunoo and I will not stan enhypen without Sunoo.

I'm a 24 year old man and the last K-pop group I stanned so hard for was EXO back in 2012. I grew up and lost interest after a few years. I didn't really pay attention to any other K-pop group since then. But here I was flipping through UA-cam Shorts and saw Enhypen's Cafe En-O'Clock episode and noticed the very handsome cashier. He had this unique sassy personality I had never seen in any other male K-pop artist and he wasn't afraid to show it. It quickly grabbed my interest. To cut the story short, I was sucked into K-pop again and not a day goes by where I don't watch Sunoo/Enha-related content. This was the best decision those producers ever made. Testament to this is Sunoo getting the loudest and longest cheers in their America tour stops. Love this freaking guy so much.

This kind of thing always happens in survival shows. Fans being confident that a certain member would still rank high, so they vote a different member which causes that former to fall in ranks. This happened in GP999. I was so shocked to see Xiaoting ranking no. 9 despite always getting consistent no. 1.

I personally think the last episode was fixed. It's just like what happened with Chaeyeon in Produce48. It was so obvious that she would get a high rank because she's one of the most popular contestants but they placed her 12 for more exposure since last place usually takes the most attention. Sunoo was consistent and has always had lots of fans and suddenly he'd dropped to less than a million votes. The moment he was announced as the producer's pick despite K being the obvious favorite throughout I-land just felt so fake. Sunoo probably ranked higher but for the sake of the finale not being cliche, they had to create a plot twist by placing Sunoo last to provide thrill since everyone was already expecting him to debut.

We have to be honest, the friendships at the beginning were a lot different and even the prospects were. Imagine being Sunoo, being not only particularly “new” with the group you will debut with and being the “less wanted” from big part of the fandom, and if you don’t wanna say “big part” let’s say the loudest one. He went through so much, I am really happy how now Enhypen are and without him now I can’t image the group. Hoping people will show him more support in the future 🥺
Sunoo is the first enhypen member to make it on the monthly BR chart. The first member to make it on the GAON social chart. The first member to make it on Idol Charts. I'm new to this group so I only know little information about them, but what shocked me the most is some fans find sunoo untalented, tbh sunoo caught my attention, he has a good singing voice and good moves when it comes to dancing. he literally standsout no matter what he do. And for me, sunoo is suited to be part of Enhypen. That boy is made to standout. He literally glows everywhere he goes, I don't know but he has this effect that makes your eyes fixated to him.

Honestly although he has always been my bias throughout I-LAND, me and many others were scared for Jungwon (bias wrecker) to be eliminated, so much so that I abandoned him thinking he was safe, I still feel guilty about it. That Sunoo now has this hanging over his head (the sudden rank drop), since it meant so much to him. I hope he realises that he is still just as loved by ENGENE.

After watching, iland and watching their activities make me realize Ni-ki is comfortable with sunoo the most. Since they are the closest in Enhypen, they may tease each other a lot out of habit. For Sunghoon, he is member with moments who whipped for Sunoo the most. Heeseung once said, Sunoo being mad is the cutest. I also tease my younger sister being fat all the time. They are young and not knowing those words can be meant another way from some point of view. But I assure they all have good friendship.
Been a kpop fanboy since 13 now I'm 22, Kyungsoo is my kind of standard when it comes to solo stanning an idol but Sunoo really caught my eye for so many reasons, talent and personality! I've been watching his vids lately! Can't wait to see more of him!

The one that got my attention first was NiKi but I never really intended to support them since I an ARMY for 8 years, for me I don't need any idols anymore but after knowing Sunoo I just can't leave that sunshine alone. I started to stann Enhypen right on them debut, that's when I heard of them, so I missed the whole show, but it keep going to show me clips in tiktok of I-land and sunoo was the first to get my attention, I could see very inside of him because he is very transparent Idk, I almost feel like I was looking throu his eyes and I feel like yk, it's the kind of person who you would trust for ever, his aura his amazing , that captivated me, he was very sincere and kind to everyone mostly, I'm happy that he debuted because he was really born to be an idol, he has the opportunities to grow better and show the talent he has, Idk why there was a lot of people who didn't believe in him when he really was someone who keep fighting even when they took away his hope and his confidence . I really love him, like, is the person I will never be able to live with without her now.😭💗

I think Sunoo must feel pressured whether he should be happy or not because he must believe K would be chosen instead of him. But the probability of him debuting is also higher because of his stable performance and got a lot of charm. He's such a multi character which not all the members can do. I think that was also why producers chose him despite his popularity. Just look at now, he's a world wide artist now. No doubt . He captures a lot of attention with his talent and charm that one of the reasons Enhypen can go further. It is just frustrating because he doesn't get better treatment yet from some people.

Everyone switched up all of sudden , at first everyone said K fits the members so well then after Enhypen debuted “ k wouldn’t fit at all “ well duh not anymore you’re used to seeing them as 7 with Sunoo so of course you don’t think K would fit . Prior to the final lineup being announced everyone thought he would fit as an older hyung , choreographer, main dancer , sub vocalist, some even went as far as to say leader along with names lkke Heeseung , and Jay . At this point stop comparing K and Sunoo , those are two different type of artists.

I know K was heartbroken at the time. But Heeseung and K in the same group would not have worked as well as splitting their strengths. I think PD Bang had a plan for K and Taki all along. The powerful werewolf concept fits K's powerful dancing, and Sunoo added a needed personality element to balance ENHYPEN. So happy with the line-up of both groups!!!

I think sunoo was the perfect choice for enhypen and the producers saw that. he fit everything, the style, he had a good attitude and he got along well with the other members. i didn’t really like k from the getgo, i thought he was arrogant. talented, but because he knew he was talented, he came off as thinking he was better than everyone else. that and with heesung as the eventual leader, they would’ve clashed too much
