Like your videos very much, reasons 1. Tina! She is wonderful, great attitude and likes Mexican food. 2. Beautiful scenery, good editing, nice photography 3. Narration is straightforward and realistic Keep up the great work!
Zion is my happy place! Love Snow Canyon too. We'll be celebrating our anniversary there on Feb 10th. Thanks for the incredible share. The overlook trail is on our list.
Canyon Overlook is a solid trail. And short and sweet (but a great pay off.) Go early though. We got so lucky with a spot opening up just as we approached the tunnel.
We love visiting Zion, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. We enjoy seeing videos of those places, but please know your videos are our favorites of them on UA-cam. You do such a nice job of putting everything together for your postings…from hearing how much you appreciate those areas, to seeing Tina’s facial expressions of how wonderful it is to be there. Thank you! Oh, and I messaged Clint about the possibility of you all heading to Glacier N.P. He said you’d been talking about it. I hope you go-would love to see the video(s) of that.
Ahh! That was awesome and the light, shadows, clouds and colors are truly amazing. Photography heaven. Thanks again Jerry and Tina, I have not heard of Snow Canyon and will certainly check it out as well.
This comment just makes me so fucking happy. Literally made my day, especially after the brutal day at work I just had. Sending so much love to the Florida ladies!! ❤❤✌🏻
I think I was the first to view this video. Well, other than Jerry, et al. I pressed REALLY hard, REALLY fast on my screen when the notification came up. 😂 Thanks, as always, for brightening our day! Then again, there are now 98 views…maybe I wasn’t first. That’s ok. I tried.
Nice, alternative sites if others do not pan out for the trip. Definitely Zion Canyon Overlook. The videos you make have been instrumental in places on my itinerary. I am from Austin, TX and have been in Atlanta for 2+ years, feel trapped! I have lived off and on in the east most of my life, wish I could live out west. My better power, she wins in our current home site.
Great to hear you plan on going. As you’d expect, the most popular drives and hikes can be crowded. But like you’ve said in your videos there are ways around that, specifically by starting early. We certainly found that to be true in Glacier. Despite the crowds, it’s still very much worth seeing the beautiful scenery from the GTTS road, from the trails, and along the lakes and rivers.
Okay, add snow canyon onto my really long list of places to go. As a photographer you had amazing light and clouds when you were there and the pools reflecting those clouds at both 6:24 and 7:35 had me drooling. Coming back to Sedona in August for the sole purpose of finding pools and crazy light with the monsoons. And being from Buffalo, NY I'd like to offer you, Tina, and anybody who wants some I will ship you all the dang snow you want! LOL By this time in January we are all a little sick of it. Oh, Having had the pleasure of Escobars on my last trip I totally understand the disappointment you can hear and see from everyone when it was closed.
Haha! Having grown up in Illinois, I know what it's like to have snow. Tina doesn't. I keep trying to tell her the awesomeness wears off, just like the 120 degree days out here get old. But the more time I spend out here, the more amazed I am by the snow.
I find it extremely hard to get over those views of Zion after a respectable snowfall especially y’all’s Angels Landing climb. So spectacular and enchanting. Great trip, Jerry!✌️
Great seeing snow in Zion. I got you one better, we did the Wave in snow and nobody knew where to go except this “old hiker.” Led 19 people in there with snow covering all the cairns and landmarks. So I shouldn’t call you crazy for hiking in a snow storm. Loved the shots of Snow Canyon. It’s on our 2023 bucket list along with Long Dong Silver et el. It’s nice to see you kids having so much fun. If you ever get back to Montrose and the San Juan’s, give me a shout - Mexican food! 😀😀😀😀😀👍
Love being called "kids"! And the Wave in the snow? I would LOVE to see it in the snow. We actually wanted to try the lottery on this trip but I'm sure the road was unpassable (and they changed the in person to the app and it's 2 days in advance now instead of 1 so we missed our chance.) Somehow, after over 5 years of trying, I was able to win the online lottery though. So maybe we'll get lucky here in a couple months.
Thanks for your stunning video. I’ve been hiking through these parks for 30 years and your content is just heartwarming. Keep it going brother, the images are endless deep. 💜💜
Thank you for your videos. It has inspired me to visit the places in you videos. I have hiked angles landing and Bryce Canyon because of your videos. I plan on doing some slot canyons on my next visit. I have applied for the wave permit several times but haven't won yet.. it's hard for me to visit Utah and Airzona because I'm from Pennsylvania. I visit Las Vegas often and always plan a day for hiking . Maybe I'll se you on the trail.
Love the video. Great to see Tina smiling again and again. We spent the previous winter in that area ( Zion, Candy Cliffs, Diana Throne) and just loved it. Thanks for the beautiful reminder. We hope to be back next year.
Just some useless trivia... Snow Canyon was actually named after Lorenzo and Erastus Snow, early Utah pioneers. Not for snow. Just like the town of Snowflake, AZ was named (I remember learning in some high school class too many years ago) after two founding families, the Snows and the Flakes. Thanks for the video!
As always great trail, and quality, dynamic movie! As a side note.... What do you think about Hopi Salt Trail to the Little Colorado River and turquoise waters? Any chances we will see you and Tina there anytime soon? As a Illinoisans can say this is your backyard!!! We are thinking about going there, but want professionals test it first! Let us know, thanks! Walter & Agnes
Just got back from Illinois, actually. Have to say I prefer AZ. I've had multiple trips planned to Salt Trail, but none have panned out to date. But it is high on the list. The climb out is not as high on Tina's list, so we'll see if it's one or both of us when that video finally happens.
I love the Canyon Overlook Trail. Such a great short hike and so much easier than Angels landing. You almost get the same view. The difference is Angels Landing looks south and Canyon Overlook looks northwest to view the same valley.
Canyon Overlook is a great trail. Love that Zion snow! I know Escobar's is the all time fave, but you might give Mazatlan Mexican Grill in Hurricane, UT, a try if you're going through that neck of the woods again.
Going to Zion NP through the East Entrance is always the most magical trip, but in the snow...! Beautiful! Currently living in the Great White North, but grew up in Scottsdale, so totally understand Tina's glow with the snow. ( I still love it when there's 2 feet on the ground.) Fun to watch you and Clint bounce off each other...you bone heads. 😁 Lotsa fun! ...but where's the Tina salute?
Ouch. I'm heading down to Zion this week in an open air vehicle. I was under the impression that the snow was all gone. While I think it is... now I'm a little nervous. :) So far I have Watchman Trail and this, Zion Canyon Overlook on my list. Thinking about headed over to Elkhart near Kanab for some rappelling as well. Thanks for the video!
Never seen Zion in Winter, snow covered, really magical. As someone living in Europe, where is snow canyon situated adjacent to Zion and what would the temperature difference between the two locations ??
Not sure on the specifics, but it's to the west. About a 30~45 min drive. The east Zion entrance starts at a much higher elevation and you just drive further and further down from there. Snow Canyon looks to be 2~3,000' lower elevation (than Canyon Overlook where we hiked in this video). Not the best explanation, but I haven't explored Snow Canyon enough.
Depends on what you want from a city. Phoenix is a larger metropolis but much easier to get around in than say Chicago, Baltimore, or a 'normal' big city. I really like it because everything you could want is here. Plenty of good hiking, but it gets hot in the summer (summer being about 9 months long out here.) Smaller towns further north like Strawberry can give you a small town feeling and some pine trees. Flagstaff is popular (and cooler) and pretty big, but also has snow in the winter. More of a college town. I really like Page too, but it's kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Of course 'nowhere' has some of the most amazing scenery on the planet, it's close to stuff in southern Utah and there's Lake Powell right there. But also kind of a seasonal resort town with the lake. Don't spend as much time in southern AZ, but if you like the old west and AZ scenery it's interesting. Then of course there's Sedona. Love visiting but the traffic/crowds would drive me insane if I lived there. Obviously left out a lot of places, but it really depends on what you want in where you live.
I use Artlist more than Epidemic Sound lately. It's pretty much the same set up. I'm really liking Artlist, especially for music with vocals. (I try to put the songs and artists in the description of the videos. I really like Sunriver who I used for the opening song in this one.)
Images literally moved me to tears I want to go back more than ever.
That's awesome. Hope you can get back there soon.
As my hiking buddy would say, “Awesomely awesome!” Thanks for sharing! Love Zion!
Zion! The best national park in the whole world! :)

3. Narration is straightforward and realistic
Keep up the great work!
I did that in winter too. Wonderful.
Zion, so beautiful! Loved the music in this video!
The lighting in snow canyon was beautiful.
I’ve been here twice but never in the winter when there is snow. Beautiful!
Thank you for sharing. I love Snow Canyon. Home sweet home! The beauty of Southern Utah.
just amazing scenery. love it!
Excellent, 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
look so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Love you guys.
Love the videos Jerry! I enjoy them all
Another great video from an unexpected great day...Great times man!
Yeah it was, man. We should hike the Wave sometime or something.....
Zion is my happy place!
Love Snow Canyon too.
We'll be celebrating our anniversary there on Feb 10th.

Thanks! Glacier is high on this list. Probably gonna be a 2024 goal, but we'll get there.
Great video, loved the snowy Zion views and the good moods all around!
It was a fun day. Hard to be in a bad mood with that kind of scenery.
Another great video! Been to Zion a couple times and it's one of my favorite places. Thanks for the trip.
I was down in the lower canyon snapping away this same morning! :) INCREDIBLE conditions. Zion is in another realm dressed in snow.
Ahh! That was awesome and the light, shadows, clouds and colors are truly amazing. Photography heaven. Thanks again Jerry and Tina, I have not heard of Snow Canyon and will certainly check it out as well.
Gotta get up there with more time to explore. The Vortex and Yant Flats are also in the area and on the list.
Jerry Thanks for keeping your promise, we love Tina!!!!!! Lots of ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Tina from us gals in Florida, we love Tina!!!
I know. Her work has been so crazy, she can't make it out as much as I'd like. Working on fixing that.....
This comment just makes me so fucking happy. Literally made my day, especially after the brutal day at work I just had. Sending so much love to the Florida ladies!! ❤❤✌🏻
The offset of the red rocks and the white snow is beautiful. Tina looked really happy. Can't wait to make my way to this side of the country.
I think I was the first to view this video. Well, other than Jerry, et al. I pressed REALLY hard, REALLY fast on my screen when the notification came up. 😂 Thanks, as always, for brightening our day! Then again, there are now 98 views…maybe I wasn’t first. That’s ok. I tried.
Snow Canyon with out any snow, So beautiful the views and colors of the land scape, thanks for always sharing your adventures...

Oh no! Escobar’s is sooo good. I stopped there before the wave.
I'm hoping it's not permanent. Can't see how since it's always packed when we're there.
Great easy hike, did this 3 times only in the summer. But with snow looks this landscape more beautiful and not so crowded.

Zion is absolutely incredible. My favorite National Park. Feels so godly.
I've been tons of time but never in the snow. Such beautiful content man.
Thank you. Zion (& Snow Canyon) made it pretty easy. I'm always amazed when I go, but it was something special with the snow.
I find it extremely hard to get over those views of Zion after a respectable snowfall especially y’all’s Angels Landing climb. So spectacular and enchanting. Great trip, Jerry!✌️

Appreciate the info! Beautiful place.
As a kid in the 1970s Scottsdale Public School District, I ate up all that kind of stuff. Just don't ask me about higher math...
Snow Canyon is hands-down my favorite State Park in Utah... Dead Horse point takes a close second but that is pretty much Canyonlands NP...
Beautiful after that snowfall in Zion. Snow Canyon is falsely named? Textures similar to The Wave lite. Very nice. Thanks
I've read a few comments that say it was named after someone with the last name of Snow.
I love Snow Canyon! One of my favorite places. FYI Escobars closes for a winter break every year.
That is good to know! I was starting to get concerned they'd closed for good.
When was this filmed? 😍
As always great trail, and quality, dynamic movie!

Absolutely breathtaking scenery

Canyon Overlook is a highly under-rated trail.
god dang you Escobar!!!
That's been my results on the last three times going there!
Canyon Overlook is a great trail. Love that Zion snow! I know Escobar's is the all time fave, but you might give Mazatlan Mexican Grill in Hurricane, UT, a try if you're going through that neck of the woods again.
I will make note of this. Thanks for the info! Haven't really explored Hurricane.

I tried with the 'be a good foreground subject' shot, but she was in too good a mood.
Ouch. I'm heading down to Zion this week in an open air vehicle. I was under the impression that the snow was all gone. Do Weeping Rock as well….there’s been huge waterfalls in the canyon, and the shuttle isn’t running so you can drive right in
This is from a while back. I think snow is limited to the upper sections now.
Never seen Zion in Winter, snow covered, really magical. As someone living in Europe, where is snow canyon situated adjacent to Zion and what would the temperature difference between the two locations ??

@@JerryArizona is it anywhere near Kolob Canyon, the N.N.W portion of Zion, I've done some trails there ?
Watching a Jerry video always gives me these weird cravings for Mexican food. .....Don't know why.
Right? I wonder why.....
Hey Tina and Jerry… where do you recommend to live in Arizona? My husband and I want to move out there. Love your videos!!!

East entrance is the best
Do you keep a log of the trails you've hiked? I'd love to be able to look through and maybe steal some ideas for our own use!
This channel is basically my log. I guess I could share tracks in Gaia, but never figured out how.
When and where is the Meetup? I've got the Jameson's ready to pour! Timmy C Arizona
You should have gone a little north on 18 to Veyo and enjoyed a Veyo pie!!
Huh. Never heard of it. But I have now....
Beautiful scenery…..we’re your music choices from Epidemic Sound or do you pay royalties to use those artists?
I use Artlist more than Epidemic Sound lately. It's pretty much the same set up. I'm really liking Artlist, especially for music with vocals. (I try to put the songs and artists in the description of the videos. I really like Sunriver who I used for the opening song in this one.)
Very cool, what trail is that in Zion? We are going next week!
Canyon Overlook. Highly recommended, and really short and accessible with a big pay off.
Tina is a Doll. Very stoic and calculating chick.
I agree. I'm a lucky man.
Relatively few people get to see it covered in fresh snow like that.
We were extremely lucky in our timing on this trip. It's unbelievable with snow like this.
@@JerryArizona I have seen Arches Nat'l Park in snow and it was incredible. Winter is a great time to travel.
cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ video hay! Chúc các bạn vui vẻ hạnh phúc nhé ! Luôn ủng hộ bạn và mời bạn ghé thăm mình nhé 👍👍👍💃💃🇻🇳
Penalty for Argentina!
Should have stopped for early dinner at Oscar's :)
We were banking on Escobar's in Kanab (way past Oscar's.) Unfortunately, that did not work out.
@@JerryArizona BTW that was AMAZING! hike with the snow. Thank you for posting another great video.
Which trail did you film in Snow Canyon?
Not really sure. We just parked and got out and walked around on the rocks. It was a last second, unplanned thing.
Curious how much you pay for gas every month driving that dinosaur up north just to have Mexican food ;).
I try my best to not keep track. It's the price of living this kinda life....
