That was fun! I am interested in cooking, gardening, the beaches, and going along for walks in the villages. Where you are is so different from suburban America, and it really fuels my imagination. This may sound strange, but it kind of settles my soul to peek into what is happening in other places. Thank you so much for sharing!

That’s a great question that I’m not really sure how to answer exactly. I prefer classic colors and styles. I rarely go for patterns or trends. I prefer modesty at this point in my life with feminine details. I tried to not shop fast fashion brands. Which means that some of my pieces are a bit more of an investment, but they last longer in my closet. I also like the adage of one in one out. It makes the shopping process more thoughtful and intentional. I like Sezane for blouses and jeans. Sandro for splurge items or coats. Uniqlo for basics and thermals. And I also try to add pieces while I’m traveling to discover and support local artisans. I hope this helps!
Maybe, Marcy, with my American accent there is room for improvement. But I agree with you - there are many places and names in France that are very different than what I imagine!

I'm surprised wth how the name of the town is pronounced. I would have thought that it would have been pronounced like the word 'bois'.
