Hey Flex I'm not sure if you answer these anymore but I bought a used c250 a few months ago and have really come a long way watching your videos so thank you for that but I do have a question,
Where would I find access through the firewall to wire an accessory on the outside of the car with a rocker panel in the cabin. If anyone would know I'm sure it you. If you could help me out on this one I would really appreciate it.

At first we we preplexed at how to access the housing in order to replace the lens which had a broken attachment clip and kept popping out, but then found your video and today my sister and I installed a new side light lens on my S550 without any issues thanks to your detailed tutorial video. 😊

First, thank you for your time and effort with all your vids, it really helps us with a variety of things. I noticed in this vid it seems the front corner of the lens scraped off paint? I literally cringed in my seat during that part... Maybe it's just soft aftermarket paint, but either way I was thinking they fix could be sanding the sharp edge of the lens a bit so it doesn't do that? Maybe, optionally, putting a piece of paper or Tyvex there for that step.
Simple enough, it only took about 15 minutes to do both sides of my 2010 E350!

Well done instruction video. Clear voice, instructions, and technique. Thanks very much for saving us time and trouble. BTW, when installing the lamp, I am cleaning out the bulb socket and doing a quick wipe of dielectric grease. i know it is a small thing, but technique is everything.

You can take the wheel off and it’s probably safer but turning the wheel works well for me.

This seems like a great car to mod, with good availability of parts, and a lot of bang for the buck on things you have done. Your car looks great, and I hope more people catch on to your videos. I think a lot of folks are a little worried about the high basic maintenance costs with this brand though!
Thanks! Yes, it's super easy and cost effective to mod but people just aren't aware. Even the maintenance cost aren't bad if you don't mind working on your own car which is actually fairly simple but the "Mercedes" branding definitely scares people. yeah..i find it sooooo much easier with it off. And once you get the hang of it, it literally takes less than a minute to remove and install. Hope I can help.

thanks for video Flexx. its not as easy as you did it. I had some trouble but finally got it to clip in. Bulb worked when i tested it but went out trying to install it back in the housing. Should I have turned light off before trying to install back in housing? thanks in advance

Hey sir - I appreciate your video a lot. They are very helpful to me as a new w204 c350 owner. Question! On the side marker removal - I’m having a little trouble taking it out. I noticed one tiny screw in the back of the black housing ..looks like it may be attached to the side marker. have you heard of this or ever came across this before? Do you think if I unscrew it will release the side marker ?

Question for you flexx? The left headlight the socket that connects to the headlight, what is the color of the wire that runs the right indicator . I have a 2013 cls63 amg. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

You need to find a way to connect the 2 wires (positive and ground) to the oem connector that plugs into the plug on the car.

Watched this several weeks ago while considering White (clear) Side Marker replacements. As of last week, someone has hit my side bumper and fender, crushing the Side-Marker. Now I'm replacing the Marker and will be needing a minor paint job : (

Parking light mode, and when headlights are on.
Man I’ll tell you it was definitely easy to do but putting the bracket and side marker back on was irritating u gotta get it at the perfect angle to create tension and really hold well 😅

I know u don’t have this car no more but what if the whole cable is dead? Like the socket got ripped off and when I replaced the bulb doesn’t work so I guess the cable is dead
Could be a bad fuse in the fuse box. If not, someone skilled need to cut off that dead harness and splice into a new harness/connector.

Look for any bulb size 194 socket
When I was changing the side marker bulb one of the brittle wires snapped, now I don’t have no wire coming out of the socket and on line they show the socket with no wires coming out …… how do I connect the wire from the car to the wire I don’t have coming out of the socket 🤷🏾♂️
Probably buy a new socket that comes with wires you can attach to your wires or go to a junk yard or buy a used socket that someone has the wires coming outta the socket.

I just looked at the socket kit. It comes with 2 metal pieces that goes into the 2 holes in the socket, and the other end of the metal pieces is where you would crimp the wires from your car.

yes, it's regulated. To my knowledge, I believe the reflector is to give other drivers on the road visibility to where the front of your car is at...especially at night. It's just extra safety even though we can clearly see the headlights lit up already. It comes in more handy when a car is parked with no lights on. If they are parked and the front of the car is jetting out into the street or intersection or crosswalk...oncoming drivers or cyclist can see where the car sticks out and be able to avoid it accordingly.
