I just bought one of these + the RPM arms and all the batteries and charger, my first decent electric RC. I just wasnt seeing a whole heap of vids showing what its like just to bash the truck around with continous use, this one definitely helped me decide so thanks man!
I bought this as my first rc coming over from flying fpv drone. The drones are collecting dust I much prefer ripping this thing around the drones will be on eBay very soon 😂

Honestly for the Money $410.00 you get the RTR Pro associated 4WD brushless rival MT -10 V2, A Reedy charger and a wolf pack 3s lipo hard case you can't go wrong for that price.

(~$500 usd) I am beginner but want a platform I can build off of for years if it is possible at all. (and another question is, should i even be looking at upgrades at all/to begin with or just get $140 hyper go H16BM?)
@@andyoh4922 no worries happy to help Im sure for $500 US you a massive option for cars to get ... So many cars to list ... Again for a first beginners rc then honestly the Rival MT10 is what i would tell anyone to buy ... Upgrades is something that can come along after ... I dont upgrade normally unless things break ... Another great RC is the Traxxas Maxx .... So tough and you being in the US parts and upgrades would be plentiful
So tempted to get the V2. My OG MT10 still rips but it's getting tired, been thrashed so much. I agree with you, best first RC or must have in your fleet. 😊
This is still my favorite - hoping to have car by now :) But slightly out of my reach. Recently new one came along, where I see it is failry similar to this one. A bit smaller, but handles well. But it is quite cheaper. It is Rlaarlo omni terminator. Do you maybe plan to review it? You are still my favorite RC car reviewr, would love to see how you drive it on this spot :)
It's a beast of a truck, putting a castle creations copperhead 10 w castle 3200kv motor , can't wait to see how it responds , still going to run 3s 6200 mAh packs

I have 2 of them. I let kids try it out when I'm at the skate park. The New 4s Kraton is also a beast. Also, the New Traxxas Rustler 4x4 is practically indestructible. All three would make great first RC cars and everyone should own one for skate park bashing.
Yea man they are an awesome rc for any level .... I had a 4x4 vxl and sold it off and regret it so i picked up another yesterday to turn into an ultimate.. thanks for watching
Rival MT10 is a really nice solid truck. I like it a lot! My only problem with it is the price creep (now $600 AUD) and new competiton from Maverick Quantum 2 and Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator coming out this month for less $$$. For people new into the hobby or stepping up into 1/10 scale hobby grade trucks for the first time, cost is usually a factor. MT10 is starting to look expensive in comparison. Hopefully TA either adjust their pricing down or release a v3 with some changes/improvements. Justin, are you ordering a Omni-Terminator tomorrow??
I've seen it as low as $500 for the v1, probably when they were starting to release the v2. For that money it's a great buy. For $650 price point it leaves the door open to other contenders

The original price for the Rival was $650 ... Some places over east have them for under 6 now .... Still imo the best value and its rock solid 🔥
