Ive been using the mic touch for 2 years now and still trying to find reasons to switch. I thought newer machines looked sexier than mine. Truth is. I run the touch from a desktop pro which makes it crazy responsive and fluent. Truth is, you have the touch, you have the live and the x in terms of performance. I can't find a reason to switch over other than the look. So what you really want to hear is... there is NO difference in specs. I run the apollo twin and it sinks great with my touch/ mac computer. Honestly, the computer opens other avenues for creativity with the net and all. My whole point is, if your looking for a reason to switch over, other than looks, there isn't any. I also use an MIO XL. So, all of my HW synths have their names come up in the MPC software. Also, all of my inputs are on Apogee conversion. I keep asking what would I gain with an MPC X?
