I really like Enterprise. It sounds like something that would have been on "A Collection of Rarities and Previously Unreleased Material". John Maus really needs to release another unreleased material album.
Enterprise is awesome. I also really love Song 01, and I really like how he sounds young and punky on Non-Conformist, Pessimist Girl, and Serenity. Galloping Madness is also great. There's almost an entire album's worth of true gems in here.
Ok, that final track is NOT John Maus. That is me imitating John Maus over Swedish House Mafia. I was parodying this song ua-cam.com/video/iAoHyDGPhJQ/v-deo.html. Sammi Carter was an injoke amongst the Dr Who community, as was that song. At one point he held a competition called Who Idol, in which people could submit Dr Who-related music and the winner would feature on his UA-cam channel. So 'John Maus' decided to submit his own version of Sammi's classic tune. He didn't win.
well like in interviews its what he grew up on. he mentioned something like not being exposed to much music in his early years. He says this is what lead to his appreciation for experimental shit
I'm glad to say I lived in the same time as John Maus.
aaaaaAaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaand he went trump rally lol

Obese sounds like a song I would write, it's hilarious someone as serious as John wrote it.

Untitled (1997) sounds straight out of the dollars trilogy, wonder possessed him to make it

I know he was influenced by Nirvana early on.. but his style in the early years sounds more like a bad Guided By Voices lol
