Man! New York City FC has got to have its own stadium.
Ernest Onwona there are plans for a new stadium. Jumping through all the hoops that NYC makes you go through is the issue.
@@MichaelJW72 You to know. Thank you.
why not build one around brooklyn
it's a joke
It's an embarrassment
Props for using the MLS 25th anniversary logo🤩
Since Avaya declared bankruptcy over a year ago, the San Jose Earthquakes' stadium has recently been renamed Earthquakes Stadium. Hopefully they'll find a new stadium naming sponsor soon.
I went to Avaya about a year ago, I didn't know this 😦
nah they should keep it EQ Stadium, fuck selling naming rights
@@cheef825 AGREED!!! Call it The Epicenter and concentrate on a long term legitimate shirt sponsor from San Jose, (Intel, Adobe, Togo's (-:).
Stadium is trash. The horseshoe shape let’s all the sound out and it’s usually empty. Only good thing about it is the huge bar and huge screen there. This is coming from an East San Jose native lol.
MLS have awesome stadiums and gameday experiences.
went to an mls game at Mapfire (Columbus v Red Bulls) and it was so weird waiting for the game and everyone tailgating in the carpark. we dont get that in australia and the A-League
@@edwardgranger742 then bring it to the A-league yourself! I'm sure it would catch on
@@raisin212k not really. our stadiums are in the middle of the city, with no way of doing it. look up Jubilee Stadium - Sydney FC home ground and AAMI Park - Melbourne Victory home, the 2 biggest clubs in the country
@@raisin212k problem is tailgaiting is more of a sport culture in the US. we just go to the pub before hand.
I go to redbulls arena often, beautiful stadium
Yes i was there with my old man R.i.p
Simple beautiful stadiums
Lots of gorgeous soccer specific stadiums coming into the League over the next few years.

My city of Atlanta 😍
Still weirds me out that Nashville is in the west right now.
But in Eastern Conference r no teams being Western than Nashville
@@xy4316 UH what? Chicago is further west than Nashville. Have you ever looked at a map before? lol
@@SuperSirianRigel y is it so bad 4 u that Nashville plays on the West side?
@@xy4316 Because they don't play the teams closest to them but one time this season because of it. Their obvious rival would be Atlanta United. Who are only a few 100 miles away. But they only play them once. But they play LA and Seattle twice. Doesn't make sense and it isn't good for building up rivalries. lol
@@SuperSirianRigel maybe its cause the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA and the Nashville Predators in the NHL also play in Western Conference so they wanted 2 do the same shit in the MLS
Lets all hope that NYCFC's newest stadium plans actually go into effect.
The little baby field is cute, but I agree. Haha
In my opinion these stadiums look large but only have few capacity
Same I was thinking inter Miami was gonna be like 40,000 and boy was I wrong
Mbs holds 73,000 people
Idkwhat 2putHere this is their temporary stadium, which will be home to the second team. They’ll move to their permanent location “Freedom Park” in 2022. Lookup the renderings on UA-cam, looks insane
@@cmorales2831 oh ok
@@mfb6979 It makes a little bit of sense why its small becuase it is very nice and has a nice complex around it
But yeah I was surprised too
I'm Brazilian and I like football from everywhere in the world, especially America(south and north), and i can assure you guys that even tho MLS fans don't compare to South Americans, they are much more energetic and seems much more passionate than Europes, their stadium is much louder. I don't understand why Europeans fans are so cold and show little to no love for their teams at the games.
excited to see the changes they make to bank of america. i’ve been there many times to cheer on the panthers but i’ve never been there to watch soccer. imo people that were hating on the charlotte bid are gonna be surprised by a) how beautiful that stadium is and b) how insanely loud it’s gonna be on matchday.
I've seen Vancouver's stadium on TV and it looks amazing, so I can't imagine how awesome it must be to watch a match there!
Been a few times as an away supporter, the lighting creates this great glow around the park, and for a stadium that nearly collapsed on itself many a time, it's a lovely place to watch a game.
Eternal Blue couldn’t agree more. Went to visit family there from the Bay Area, Ca and went to watch the Earthquakes match. the fans are spectacular, and the lighting is amazing. not to mention the downtown area, full of life there.
Saw the Union-Whitecaps match there in 2013 and it was really warm with the sun shining right in our faces on the east side with the roof open. The atmosphere was excellent, though.
Great Atmosphere, the roof is amazing to watch open/close, and when the upper bowl is open (usually for itnl. matches) it's just breathtaking.

Been going to Red Bull Arena since it opened, hoping they would get a good signing to bring in fans cuz I remeber 2010-2014 the stadium was filled with fans seeing Thierry Henry, and it wasnt bad during 2017-2018 since we won the supporter shield, I would love to see this stadium filled again
the only reason why i went to Columbus Crew vs NYRB was to see Henry. would have been great if Cahill wasnt on socceroos duty. as an aussie seeing Arsenal Legend and our nations legend together would have been amazing. but a great columbus atmosphere and hospitality lead me to be a fan ever since
@@edwardgranger742 Tim Cahill was fantastic, and when he partnered up with Henry and Dax Mccarty it was pure awesomeness. I respect the hell out of the Aussie national team been seeing them since they made it to the world cup 2006 and at the time my national teams are Portugal (my parents) and the U.S. (birth place). So happy when they won the Asian Cup back in 2015.
The capacity of Stade Saputo in Montreal has been reduced to 19 906 since 2019.
Nice video, according to Marselo “el loco” Bielsa, if there is a country with a tremendous potential to grow in soccer that country is USA and so far that’s exactly happening👌👍

Atl United has more than 71,000
i was thinking that, i went to a match with more than 71,000 there before lol
Zane Stoor I’m sure there was one match with around 74,000
It can hold 80,000+ for "special events"
They close off the top section during most games.
@@speedydog45 Correct, I am just making the point that if wanted, they could do 80,000
Vancouver whitecaps 👌
Alphonso Davies club 🔥🔥
I wonder how inter Miami’s stadium would look like on tv
Hello from Russia!
Can somebody tell me what MLS clubs have a great atmosphere at the games, like sound and visual support plus huge attendance in % of the stadium capacity etc?=)
Wanna visit football... sry, soccer MLS game some time if i gonna visit US or Canada, and experience the MLS, and the difference with european championships (wich are very different tbh)
1 Providence Park in Portland,
2 Century Link Field in Seattle,
(There is a great video from Copa90 on the Cascadia Derby between Portland & Seattle)
3 Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta,
4 Childrens Mercy Park in Kansas City
I'd also recommend any of the 3 Canadian MLS stadiums during a rivalry match.
@@raisin212k Ty very much!

@@hellobro1422 You're funny.
banc of California is really nice and simple 🔥🔥
Since this video was posted, Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, PA (Philadelphia Union) was renamed Subaru Park.
They saved the BEST stadium and BEST home field advantage for last ATL United.
Didn't serve them well losing to Toronto lol.
Nashville coming in w that 30k seater😍
Soldier field in thumbnail ❤
Sounders fan here, tbh I really like the idea of having our own Sounder's stadium instead of playing at Century Link sharing with the Seahawks. All the smaller stadiums on this list look really really nice imo, and it's much more intimate.
With that said I wouldn't necessarily support moving to a brand new stadium because Century Link field is where the Sounders history is, it can actually fit our fans on average attendance, and it is in the heart of seattle, a new stadium would likely be somewhere outside. Plus with the MLS and NFL seasons (mostly) not overlapping it makes perfect sense to plat C-Link.
Anyway guess you can't have both, I will have to visit and enjoy the charm of one of the smaller ones some day though.
Anders Wennstig I'm also a Sounders fan but there are some problems with moving out of CenturyLink field. First of all if we were going to build a new stadium we would have to make it larger than normal MLS stadiums because we have such a large fan base. It's somewhere near 45k people attend a Sounders event so shrinking it would make fans unhappy. The second thing is that there is really no space to create a new ~45k seat stadium in Seattle. If we really wanted to the stadium would be placed in other areas like Bellevue or very south or north Seattle which I don't think would work. Also lastly, there probably won't be enough funding to create one as Seattle has other problems to deal with. The Seahawks and the Sounders coordinate their schedules so there isn't an overlap as well
@@julianwhitworth3803 I agree with absolutely all the point you metioned, which is why I also mentioned all those points in my original post and conceded that I liked our current situation. Haha :) glad we agree though
@@anderswennstig5476 It took them 20 years to finally get Key Area started on its remodel, and they still haven't given the Sonics their own stadium yet.
They only way the Sounders get our own stadium is when the Seahawks get theirs, I think.
Not to mention, Seattle also can sell out CenturyLink on big game days, hell we held the largest attendance at that building when we hosted the Cup this last year.
@Anders Wennstig I wish we had our own stadium too. Been to Providence Park, as well as BC Place, and I have to say I get a bit jealous when I see how they have a facility that is actually tailored to their club. I know Thorns play at Providence as well, but the theme is pretty much Timbers. Then again their ticket prices were pretty pricey until they added that extra section. You can often times pay $18 for a Sounder game if you get it last minute and that’s thanks to how large the Link is. So I guess we can’t have everything lol

KC might be my favorite, but cannot best San Jose for the world's longest bar. Nothing better than Avaya during a gorgeous sunset. Portland for game day atmosphere, hands down, nothing close.
KC and Atlanta are the coolest
@@bootyeater Word. Arturo needs to take a road trip to see a match in Atlanta. I'm a Crew supporter, and we have fought a long hard battle to save our side... but no one else in the MLS matches the Benz on a United gameday. Portland supporters are certainly ultras, but dude... those folks in Atlanta not only insanely loud and passionate, but also an extremely hospitable and welcoming crowd. My buddy and I made a road trip down from Ohio to visit a childhood neighbor that lives down there, and we went to the United v Crew game. For my money, Atlanta have the best fans and support in the MLS.
@@MickeyKraut419 The youthful enthusiasm and the way Atlanta has embraced soccer is great. Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and San Jose have been doing it for 40 or years. An eternity in US professional terms. Soccer is part of the NW culture as football is in the south. Wait for losing seasons and then see how long the stadium keeps selling out. Ive been to a game in Atlanta and they do put on a great show and the fans were loud , pregame is still not like its done in Portland or Seattle.
I love the standing sections in some of these stadiums.
The Orlando City stadium is beautiful, you can’t appreciate it from this pictures but the whole arquitecture of it makes transparent almost from behind the stands.

Atlanta United 🤯🤩
Gli stadi americani di calcio tutti bellissimi, forse il più bello e quello di Atlanta Georgia👍👍👍💛💛💛
il san Siro del soccer! infatti i colori sociali sono rossoneri

Short and sweet. Saved the best stadium for last
Nice little video, look forward to next seasons update. I just found your channel and from this video I have a feeling you must be an American. The reason why, you say “City, Provence, country” for Canada, but just “City and state” for USA.
I love the LAFC team stadium it's very new and beautiful
Sacramento Republic FC BABY! Guess who the owner of Sacramento Republic FC is...... Ron Burkle the Co-Owner of the 5x Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins #ForeverPittsburgh and I'm from Sacramento, California

North Carolina?
MLS stadiums should be as big as NFL ones
Those stadium belong to theirs own or share with other sport club?
FIFA 21 should include all of them in its list of stadiums.
Exploria in Orlando is the best !!
In the UEFA Champions League, you can't use sponsor names in your stadiums. For instance, Juventus' Allianz Stadium just becomes Juventus Stadium.
Is there a similar regulation for US teams in international competitions?
MLS clubs do not compete in International competitions like the Europa or Champions League. Concacaf doesn't do anything like that that I'm aware of. If they do, the likely reason MLS sides would not compete is because of the timing of the MLS season running from early Spring to late fall, the opposite of what most FIFA affliated professional leagues run.
@@MickeyKraut419 I thought they competed in the CONCACAF Champions League. Didn't LA Galaxy even reach the final once?
Maybe they do what UEFA does for Russian teams. When an international season starts in, Russia is represented based on the season prior since theirs end in the winter
@@NIDELLANEUM After going back and looking you're partially right, three MLS clubs plus the US Open Cup winner are in. LA Galaxy have only ever made it to the semifinal once and lost. Toronto FC, Monteal Impact, and Real Salt Lake have all made it to the finals, but all lost to Liga MX sides.
