bflo1000 I am an always have been an original Misfits fan, matter of fact I was fortunate to see em in early 80’s ( but now I’m old ) when Doyle first joined the band in Philadelphia two or three times. Never much on Danzig’s other stuff. But hey we all have different opinions & tastes right, and yes it’s a small world out there man, especially in the music industry.
So cal, 80s-90s: Present; Punk, greaser/rockabilly, odd cogg, never did good with authority. "Always hit the biggest motherfucker there." We're the kind of people who don't know a shit load of living folks... But we is who we is.

Punk = Loser? No idea where that came from. I always though of Punk as rebellion against apathy, the apathy that poisons your mind when you're forced to live a normal life without feeling into it. 13-14 years of tedious drudgery in school, 50-60 years of brutally hard work, maybe consume some products and produce some babies, and die knowing that the sole, ultimate purpose of your entire life was to make other people rich. Punk is about trying to give a fuck anyway, when the normal life that's been shoved up your ass since you were little just doesn't cut it for you. That's how I see it, anyway.
I mixed these guys in Sacramento in the 80's at the Crest Theater. As I recall it was a three band show. (Misfits and ....?) By the time Social D. came on, the place was fucking berserk. Security resorted to night sticks. I had 7 foot tall fill stacks to hit the crowd in front of the stage, and these guys would fight their way onto the stage, a 6 foot rise, scramble up the sides of the amp racks onto the tops of the fill and dive off into the crowd. There was a shitload of blood on the floor by the time THAT show was over. The mosh pit was pretty much the whole main floor. One of the most insane club shows I've ever worked or gigged in. Awesome.
4:03...5:33... they seemed quite into it., as I would have been had I been lucky enought ot be there. The only time I saw them I was stuck up top in a sports arena. Great video of a great show. Don't judge the audience on how the applause was mixed into this soundtrack. I'm sure everyone who was there was very pleased.
To my fave. Home town boys as you know I am still sending you all the best of luck any Love no matter what comes our way. I'm still waiting to hear and see you boys play some day I am still broken 💔Ed and sad I have not heard you live. I'm still waiting for that time to come my way soon and yes to really get to meet you boys soon. Dear Mr. Ness I was born in Huntington Beach, and you're not far away from me and I am now in Seattle Washington I've been here for over 20 yrs. I do have my heart set to go back home one day. I'm sending you this message with love and prayers to you boys. For the love of God and Rock and roll you boys kick ass 💋💋💋🔥 always.aloha from the home town girl to the home town boys down in OC God's blessings to you all and always Trish 🌹😜 Mr Ness take care of your beautiful family you have earned it you crazy ass mother f 💋💋💋😜🤪
Chuck Biscuits is a legendary punk drummer if you’ve been paying attention - I think he was the original DOA drummer, played in Black Flag before they broke up, I think he worked for like the Descendants, then Danzig recruited him for the first few albums.
I remember now, I started singing this to Marla K Mayfield on the bus and cut off rather quickly. I lost out to a fan of Ho Chi Minh. Rocks. Free ballin'
This crossover sound is what MADE them as popular as they are, and didn't fall the same fate as many contemporaries such as Pistols, Misfits, Germs etc...
I'm so glad I don't hurt people in the mosh pit any more. Gawd you should have seen me kicking people at the Primus show, but I'm not like that ant more. I don't want to hurt anyone, and I don't want to get hurt. I'm an old guy these days. Mike Ness and SD are still amazing!
Johnny Cash was a lot more than just a Country singer. That guy was a goddamn outlaw, and one of the first to pave the way for others to come. I generally despise Country, but Johnny was a f*ckin' badass God!
and anyone saying anything about a punk band doing a cover from JC!¡ uhhhhh Hello!!¡ JC did a duet WITH Nelly a black artist and Kid Rock so please educate
drummer is kickin ass!!!!
I was expecting him to punch a hole in the head of his snare he was hitting so hard.
They'll rock from the grave! Just turned 50, still love ' em!
Everyone gushes over Mike Ness, but it seems to me that the drummer is the real badass in this show :)
Devil's Offspring Chuck Biscuits is the man!
bflo1000 He was the drummer in Samhain correct ????

I'm a lifelong Johnny Cash fan and I approve this message.
Actually June wrote this song
Mike is channeling Elmer Fudd on this one! Love it :)
Ok so it wasn’t me losin my mind, but then again the thought of Elmer bangin out this as he hunts down Bugs Bunny has me stoked!!!
OMG! I was thinking of the Robin Williams imitation of Elmer Fudd! "Firewa!". Sowry folks, that is vaowee terwible of me.
Have seen Social D live, but never caught this lineup. Wish I had, with the amazing Chuck Biscuits on drums!
The ONE & ONLY, Legendary CHUCK Fuckin BISCUITS bangin’ the Drumset!!
I love you Social distortion. Ring of Fire written by June Carter, but you rock it !!!
Also written by Merle kilgore not just June Carter
Love Chuck getting two puffs from a cigarette right at the beginning! I somehow never noticed that.
Drummer is awesome
Chuck Biscuits R.I.P.
Chuck is still with us, just retired from music though for many years.
Chuck Biscuits was Glen Danzigs first drummer on his first solo album. Absolute beast on drums.
DOA
Sad part is chuck said he was making more money off of DOA royalties than his entire time with danzig !
Social distancing? No, I like Social distortion!
fucking right
One has to be socially distorted as all of us here. And not to be socially distanced from all of us here.
Always brothers and sisters 😊

Oh I love this band and I'm 64
Song was written by June Carter. Johnny only had the idea of the mariachi horns but the same chord progression.
He DID say "written by an outlaw's WIFE..." before his dorky "frauleins in black panties" bit.
That energy was amazing Man.Cheers :)
Kool s@#t brotha! Thanks Mike for all the great music..
Social D is f***ing epic.
First time I saw em was with this lineup!!!

Whos the Kelly family hes talking about?
At the time, I thought these theatrics were ridiculous (including the audience). But years later, I feel that I was correct.
