- welcome to Cotonou in Benin. In today's vlog you will drive your motorcycle to the presidential Palace to see an amazing African Art exhibition. African art stolen by the colonizer as well as contemporary art are exposed in the museum of the presidential palace.
I hope you will enjoy this episode ! I also hope the process of restitution of the art that as been stolen can keep going ! I was really happy to see the school kids discovering their culture and art in this really lovely museum.

This is my country 🇧🇯 I love it ❤️🌹🌺
a super beautiful country
Thanks for sharing the video of this exhibition to the general public.
I must commend the Benin Government for allowing the world to see these beautiful pieces of art. Good job!
This was so beautiful to watch especially seeing all the school children visiting to see their history. 💕
i was also thinking while walking there,
the future president of Benin may be 10 years old today,
and he may have stepped here at this exhibition,
that s really good to see the kids here
This really did it for me. Thanks Ludo for visiting and sharing this art exhibition. It gives me joy that African societies are beginning to appreciate their history through art and especially opening the doors to those who ordinarily would be left behind. Nothing more beautiful than seeing the kids partake this exhibition. It's not just a peep at the past but it opens the window to the future of the country. A very bright one.
Glad you enjoyed it yes i was also really glad to see these kids enjoying inside that great museum !
Thanks for sharing this with us.
I'm glad they are finally returning stolen artifacts to their rightful places. I hope they return them all.

@LUDO- happy to see this museum in Benin. Now if only the Frech and the British gave back the stolen artifacts it would be an even better museum!
yes that's true, some have already been given back, but that's just a small step, waiting for more to come back home
Really enjoyed this, and probably one of my favs of yours so far! Art, beautiful murals, clean streets, beautiful African children dressing in colours that are so typically African, an Art gallery so close to the presidential office, educational and informative! What more could one ask for! Loved it!🔥💫🌟🙏🏾

Amazing place. so much beauty and history. They can be very proud of that museum..
yes this museum is really nice ! high quality !
Thank you.
12:06 Voodoo mood in this painting ... I stared at it for a good while. There is something similar in The Garden of the Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch.
Those 3-dimencional works (14:00 and 14:10) are marvelous.
the two painting at 12:06 are actually representations of the two major historical king statues you can see earlier at 7:34 .
I was also kind of amazed by these assemblage at the end as well as i was by the helmet.
cheers Sir !
MADNESS
I can't get a grip of the painting at 12:06 ... but I can feel a bit anxious inside. Maybe it is a wrong interpretation. Hieronymus at least depicted the madness in a sensible manner 🙂.
Anyways ... the painting on the right is narrated classically and is conventionally composed on the canvas. I would hang it on the wall even though the vessels can be slave ships.
The museum is actually packed with interesting works ... just let your brain interpret what your eyes see.
@@akiensio425 gives me bad dreams.
@@tuforu4 Yeah, in dreams ... for some people, madness has been true for over three months now.
Did you see the shopping experience and crazy ride I had in Dantokpa Market , the biggest market of West Africa ?

Merci pour cette visite culturelle très intéressante, j'ai beaucoup aimé. ..
content que cela ous ait plu, je pense que cela plaira beaucoup moins à l'audience qui regarde habituellement, mais il en faut un peupour tous les gouts

Hello 😊 Ludo Nice museum That securities man why is he fllowing you when you'll recording is some things there stolen.?? Also why do they take your passport to resume your moto bike instead of a ticket.
Very strange
I didn't see anybody following me. everybody needs to drop passport or ID for citizen to come in the palace of the president, it is not for the bike only, but for eery person coming in

Man I really admire you! I just can’t see you not marrying an African woman. 🤔😁
Hahaha, must he?
he he he, i will ask my Asian wife if she agrees me to marry another lady, from Africa :)
@@Ludo_Liu Ohhh😁😂! Well you still didn’t marry a French wife 😂. We welcome you both! I hope you both decide to get a home in the continent. Please open a restaurant♥️🙏🏽😊
thanks for the welcoming message
This is presidential palace and it is accessible to people. Benin is civilized and safer than Nigeria from that point of view.
In Nigeria you will be shot by the guarding soldiers before you even get to the gate entrance. I can remember vividly an Nigerian UA-camr called Eboh Media who misses his way and drives close to the governor's gate and he is almost beaten by the ugly guards. The level of aggression by the soldiers toward him is unexplainable. We must dissolve the absolute power given to our Nigerian leaders. They are abusing it.
I actually went into the governor palace in Lagos, for a special occasion, I was granted the right to shoot, but not to put the videos online
😀😀😀
You're totally right
ITS KIND OF INSULTING THAT THEY HAD TO LOOK AT SOMEONE LIKE YOU AFTER BEING GIVEN BACK SOME OF THE PRICELESS ART YOUR ANCESTORS STOLE

welcome to the podium of the hatred and frustrated comment
you are violating people right. you are not allow to take people video anyhow
firstly : i don't take images anyhow, they are really stabilized in 4 k, with the best edit I can do. i put all my efforts for a good quality :)
secondly : you are wrong on what you said... check at the law and the situation in this video
did you ask them before talking their video? this is not right.
@@sedo4190 what is not right in this vidéo?
dont be ingnorant and talking commenting any how
have you checked the law and police about public vidéo
all you can see and appreciate in this video is that.
pfff your comment shows your knowledge limit .
violating what??
somebody is making a vlog showing our culture and religion of africa and you are saying he is violating people right .
you have a serious problem
