My brother has been struggling for a long time now going through so much and he can't sleep at night because he has nightmare after nightmare. I am a soldier on the other side of the world and on the bus today I found out that he is turning back to alcohol just to fall asleep at night again because he had a friend way older than him 30 or so with a family who he would bike and talk with secretly. They had a super close bond that is before this man got hit by a car and got seriously injured. The doctors said he would make it and the wife called my brother to tell him what had happened because she knew how close my brother and her husband were. The man and my brother spoke and it seemed like he would make it. Then a week later my brother got a call from the mans wife she told him her husband lost the fight and was no longer among the living. My brother didn't say a word to anyone for almost 3 days. He wouldn't even talk. I had no idea any of this had happened then my mom told me and I spoke with my brother on the bus today. Thinking about him and his friend who's no longer among us while listening to this song made me cry for almost an hour.
