This is intriguing; I totally get why this is not for everyone but the cargo door and tie-downs are very appealing. We have electric mountain bikes that could possibly fit in there. Can you confirm the opening size of the cargo door? Also the specs show the bunk size is 30" wide but the mattresses appear wider. What are dimensions of bunk platforms vs the mattresses? Are the bunk widths the same on each side or is one narrower? Also when you say queen size, is it standard queen 60x80"? Th unit seems heavy for what's in it. Is that because the axle is beefier?
Thanks for watching! The door is easy, opening is 29" wide by 47" tall. If the cargo door doesn't work, with all my campers, I just took the bikes in through the entrance door which is about the same width, but much taller, of course. Front bunk mattress is 30"x85" and side bunk mattress is 32"x68". Bunk platforms are 32"x76" on the front, and 30"x62" for the side. As for the queen mattress, it's what we like to say RV queen - it's a bit shorter than the standard 80" length. Metal exterior campers are wood framed...makes it a bit heavier than the fiberglass exterior campers which are aluminum framed. Hope this helps!
Hello, Did Forest River make an Ozark 1530 in a different trim, which eliminates the bunk beds, and possibly adds either a sofa or a U-shaped dinette, where it is more suited for a couple? I'm trying to find one but Forest River removed this length from their 2024 lineup it seems. TIA.
Not that we are aware, but we've had this similar question. The bunks can be removed with some screws that release the brackets. As for the sofa or dinette, from my memory, they did not offer that has an option. I personally loved this model, good luck in your search!
Not that we can see from our information on the trailer. Does appear that you potentially could remove them through the screwed in swing brackets and leave the bunks at home.
Was super impressed…until you showed the bed. I’m past the age where I want to get down and up off the floor to sleep. The bed is definitely a nah for me. 😢 And “big” sink is a fib. Lol
Only thing I don't like is the mattress on the floor. A fold out frame would be good. But other than that it's a great trailer
Say small, versatile, affordable one more time. Had to finish on mute
Odd flex. But I doubt you'll forget that it's small, versatile, or affordable
Agreed mute was nice to watch it on
🤣 like the guy who teaches Ski on south park

Are the bunks removable?
Not from the factory, but you can remove them yourself by removing the swing brackets.
Do they make this without the bunk beds?

It’s like 18k
Actually even less...we recently had it on sale for $15,999. Thanks for watching!
