- What do these two legends think of each other? Oliver Kahn (Bayern Munich) and Peter Schmeichel (Manchester United) discuss all week (19th-23rd January), the keepers talk all things football.
It's football gold, Manchester United's 2-1 win over Bayern Munich, 26th May 1999. Manchester United and Bayern Munich had only met twice in competitive matches before the '99 final, so anything could happen. But after a dodgy start United snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

I always though Kahn had a bit of Peter Schmeichel about him. Now I know why, both were terrifying for some stikers. I cant think of any keeper in 2020 with that. They came off their lines like freight trains!
Both are equally good. Can't differentiate. LEGENDS.
Schmeichel is better but they are both legends

When Kahn was 18 years old my uncle Alexander Famulla was the first goalkeeper for Karlsruher SC and trained young Kahn. Back then he already knew Kahn will be great one day...

Peter: I never measure hands because if I start measering I have to do it with all.
warum nur so kurze Interviews? Zehn Teile? Ernsthaft. Okay kann man machen aber dann mach doch bitte eine ganze Stunde das Interview und nicht nur irgendwie 15 Minuten insgesamt, den beiden hätte man doch wirklich ein oder zwei Stunden locker zuhören können, einfach grandios was die zu erzählen haben
OFC it is Peter, by miles! well for me since he played for United! But, tbh, both are the best goalkeepers i've ever seen
