I love Gabi After Hours!! 8:08 8:08 I have watched so many of his videos… particularly Fr. Blount’s talks. I always thought Gabi was a woman until now! Also, I have been learning Gregorian Chant (and learning to sing in general again) in the Schola at St. James Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter in Jacksonville! It has been such a blessing to worship in the Catholic faith with the liturgy that so many martyrs died for in England. Bishop Lopes came and spoke to our congregation a couple of months ago. What a Holy Spirit filled man of God is he!! I’ve been so blown away by Gabi’s story. Jordan and Tammy brought my college age children back to the faith. They even brought me to see him here in Jacksonville last March! Thank you, God, for all these people who say, “Yes!” to God to work in their lives for the saving of souls. (That includes you, Matt Fradd! My older kids watch your videos and have come back to the faith on account of your videos, as well.)

Presence of Mama Mary in action. "Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed". For all those who hasn't started to trust and have faith in our holy blessed mother Virgin Mary it's way past time to believe and give her our full 💯HONOR and take her, use her as our very own mother that we can rely on for help and run to 24/7. God gave us her, the greatest gift for all humanity and thru her we have our Lord Jesus Christ to save us.🌎

Do you hear yourself? Mary is the greatest gift from God? Not Jesus? Putting our FAITH in Mary? You are going far beyond honoring her. You are elevating Mary to the level of Jesus. She was a sinner, and Jesus died for her sins, as well as ours.

@@wealthybones1280 You and I know that this isn't a new argument issue. I can only say 1 thing as a respectful response. If we are really sincere in understanding more about the role of the Virgin Mary in our lives we need to SEEK more like what Jesus said SEEK and you shall find. If you're willing to accept my humble and brotherly opinion try this. Ask whole heartedly our Virgin Mary for guidance and enlightenment and pray 1 Hail Mary. If you can't FEEL any effect after doing this then you are welcome to reply back again and tell me if my words are 💯empty. God bless us all.

Mary isn't a sinner but she isn't God. There's a difference between latria and dulia, a difference between Adoration and Veneration.
Yes, without proper honor and understanding of Mary, we then misconstrue who Jesus is and what He proclaims.
And remember, look at just about every icon, painting, even statues of Mary. She's typically pointing to her Son, not to herself.

@ChaRles-me3bb I actually have tried using Hallow. It felt wrong, and I was uncomfortable. The way they talk about Mary is the same way I would talk about Christ. They elevate Mary to the same level as Jesus. I think honoring Mary is good, but I think people take it way too far.

Interiorly, I would laugh at her. Then I got a little closer to Our Lady and I find that it works! Most recently, I have been fighting sloth and just realized that I need to ask for heavenly help, I think Jesus directly, will be the most help but also I need to tell Satan to get behind me when I want to not pray the rosary, or wash the dishes. And I need Mary, our blessed Mother, to stomp on his head for me

Pro tip: if you're able to, pray the rosary as you start your day in the morning!
I see a lot of difference in my day when I start it off with prayer, and when I leave it for later (such as, the end of the day😅). Especially if I do it daily, it cumulates, and gradually days or weeks after I really how many things have somehow started to be in order in my life or how various opportunities appear. Edith Stein said to give your first hour to God. Depending how much time one has, of course. I start the morning rosary as audio, so I have free hands so can go about starting the day while praying. Sometimes when I have more time I would pray with the actual rosary in the hand, but most mornings it's rather difficult. Praying hands free while doing other chores makes it possible for me to for more sets of the rosaries in a day (and then you can still do a chaplet, or maybe just repeat the mysteries again, when you're out of other ideas😅). Of course, it's also important to have a prayer time when you're doing only that, focused only on that. But _additionally_ to that, fitting the prayer during the day and during various other tasks, I've found it very, very efficacious, received a lot of graces!

I have some genuine questions for my catholic brothers and sisters out there. Is the language about Mary seen in this video normal in the Catholic Church? Is it Catholic doctrine to attribute omnipotence and omniscience to Mary and the saints? Is it normal to serve a saint like that in Catholicism? Again, these are genuine questions. Not trying to start a debate in the UA-cam comments.

@@dylanh7826 I'm Catholic and his "devotion" or relationship with Mary is not typical. Nor is speaking in tongues typical of all protestants. This man is a charismatic Catholic. If you listen carefully, the interviewer takes some exception with several of Gabe's precepts. I appreciate your asking, and as a former evangelical, I understand and sympathize with how scandalous this guy sounds to you. Thank you for being honest yet charitable. We know Mary is the first and last hurdle protestants and potential converts face when encountering Catholicism.

If the saints ask / pray to God on our behalf, it is ultimately God whom answers our prayers and it is his omnipotence - not the saints. Similarly with regards to omniscience, we do not believe the saints require omniscience to hear prayers, the hearing of prayers can be facilitated through God's power somehow. Consider, even on this comments section you can recieve/ 'hear' the words of thousands of people globally.. would that make you omniscient?

Yeah I’m torn about Gabi, I just watched another video he just released and he’s talking about Mary being omnipotent.🤨I tried the full rosary, it sucked all the joy out of the rosary. It just became about getting through them all instead of meaningful, devotional contemplation. Maybe it works for him and others. Some of his speech regarding Mary - and I could be wrong here as a non Catholic who is pursuing Catholicism - seems heretical and based on the hyperbolic non binding statements of saints and not necessarily actual doctrine. Could be wrong, or maybe I’ve misunderstood Catholicism…

Sodablood, I love your questions and your humility. I have been taught that sometimes God does more for us when we struggle with prayer than when it is easy. The Holy Spirit is still working when we feel like we're hurrying or just going through the motions. All prayer brings about good and can be transformative regardless of our performances.
Re: the power of Mary - her omnipotence comes from her Son's omnipotence. As we have learned from the Bible and church Tradition, Jesus never refuses anything His Mother seeks. Everything about her directly points back to Jesus.

One has to distinguish what Church officially teach's on Marian Dogmas and what was revealed to the Saints and Mystics. Thus those teachings which Catholic Church doesn't ask us to to give our accent to by Faith, we are not bound to adhere to those even if we are Catholics. We say these as Private and Public revelations etc...
Read works of St Alphonsus liguori The Glories of Mary and St Louis de Montfort The Secrets of Rosary to Better understand his position.
Reading other works of Marian Saints can also help such as the one's I mentioned.

I have a friend who is a believer but she has a problem praying the rosary bc of the repetition. I had the same problem in the beginning. Now I have no problem. The Rosary is a meditative prayer contemplating about the life of Jesus and Mary. When I start praying it, first of all I look at her statue in a loving and submissive way and I start meditating on her purity and her immense maternal love and her obedience to God and all the rest of her virtues, and eventually I get into her presence and of the Holy Spirit. Once you’re there the rest is easy. You find yourself going with the flow in her loving presence and she comes alive. It’s beautiful !!!

God so love the world that he gave His own son.
And His own son established a new covenant with His disciples for the remission of sin.
When Jesus said to His disciples go and baptize all nations in water and spirit. Jonh 3:5
And He breathed on them and said recive the holy spirit, as my father send me so I will send you the sins you forgive shall be forgiven the ones you retain shall be retained.
      Jonh 20:23
And at last supper Jesus took the cup and said this is the blood of the new and eternal covenant wich is being poured for you and for many for the remission of sin.
He never said ignore what I ordained with you as long as you believe in me you are saved.
      Instead He said
      Jonh 6 53:54
Then Jesus said unto them verly, verly I say unto you except you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink His blood ye have no life in you.
54.whose eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day.
St paul said if we drink from the cup in an anwordly manner we will condemme our soul.
Protestantism has millions of people dying in their sins thinking they are already saved.
And do your self a favour, stop quoting kjv bible ,a English king, that took the bible from catholic church taking some books out and making his own bible. Just because he was a king and he could. English people are not the most spiritual people.

John 10:11 KJV "I am the GOOD SHEPHERD: the Good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep."
Was CHRIST a physical Light, Door, and Good Shepherd like you make the bread and the wine to become???
No, HE was spiritually those things as CHRIST concluded in John 6:63 KJV "It is the SPIRIT that quickens (gives eternal life); the flesh profits nothing (flesh means physical works of any sort in a physical world): the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE." (CHRIST says HIS WORDS have spiritual meanings NOT physical meanings and are spiritually discerned and give SPIRITUAL LIFE which is FOREVER.
The rcc lives in the physical world where they can see CHRIST as a wafer, taste HIM, touch HIM, swallow HIM. Your faith are in sights and sounds and so forth. Eternal life is in the spiritual world because GOD is Spirit and all those that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth (of HIS Word). You have no spiritual life. My evidence is that you have no idea where you would go if you died right this minute. I, as a real Christian, know exactly where I would go. To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD because I have eternal life I would go to Heaven. Real Christians have their being in CHRIST and catholics have their being in the RCC, popes, and priests without which, you believe, eventually may give you eternal life through sacramental works.
Ephesians 2:4 KJV "But GOD, who is rich in mercy, for HIS great love wherewith HE loved us, 5 even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us (made us alive) together with CHRIST, by grace you are saved; 8 For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
All false faiths in the world including yours have some sort of works to do. Real Christianity is saved by the free gift of grace through faith NOT of any works. Works are a fruit NOT a means to salvation.

The redaction is to protect Gabi. He's in a very deep, spiritual ministry, needs all our prayers and, for the safety of his body and soul, some things like his exact location are kept unknown to the public until the proper and prudent time.
During the interview, it wasn't the prudent time to reveal those things.

This is a great story.. but exactly why so many people ride off Catholicism. The Mary worship is nuts.

Actually, praying to the Blessed Virgin Mary makes total sense - she interceded at JESUS' 1st public miracle at the wedding at Cana and on the Cross Jesus gave her to St John to be his spiritual mother - symbolically to all disciples of JESUS. The only thing that's nuts is when people wickedly & maliciously twist God-given devotion to the Mother of God and erroneously call it Mary worship.

Something about this guy is off. He gives me the same feeling as super charismatic evangelicals; lots and lots of talk about spiritual “experiences”, a lot less interest in Jesus.

As a Pentecostal Christian, this account of praying to relics and saints is so difficult to conceptualize as biblical or Christ-like. I am evolving towards being more accepting of people's faiths or versions of faith, so this is not a criticism.

There are so many Bible verses that support the importance of relics. You should watch the video of the late Pentecostal Pastor Rev Alex Jones. He was vehemently anti Catholic. He preached to his congregation that all Catholics were going to hell, unbiblical, idolators,Mary worshippers,Pope was the anti Christ and other lies / misconceptions about Catholic teaching. Then,he studied ancient Christianity .After about a decade of studying,he and many members of his congregation converted to Catholicism. There was also another Pentecostal Pastor who converted with many members of his flock to Catholicism. There have been numerous Pentecostal Pastors, who converted to His Church .their testimonies can be viewed here on YT as well.

Worry more with the fact that the body and blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, is not present in man made Churchs.
Trunsubstitiation only in holy Catholic Apostolic Church, the church Jesus established.

    • @MPFXT
      @MPFXT 7 днів тому

You should study the lives of the early Christians - the direct followers of the Apostles & their writings, a.k.a. the Church Fathers or patristic writings, as well as, the writings of all of the Doctors and saints of the Church in her 2,000 year history. Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Theotokos, is consistent and overwhelming.

Every conversation you have in your head is not real. I’m glad all Catholics don’t talk like this. And not believing everything this man says that Mary or the Saints told him, is not a lack of faith, but rather the use of discernment.
