That looked like a cracking day out. Another one to add to the list for when Covid craziness ends and I can finally get back to the UK and visit friends and family. Thanks for posting.
Yeah I tried this my shoulders were not up to it. arthritis is a pain in the arse I’ve managed to loosen up my neck and shoulders so hopefully I’ll be trying this in the future
Great vid man ! 1 of the best reviews of somewhere I have seen. Look forward to seeing some more of your stuff. Do you remember how much climbing you did there in ft btw. Just as a comparison to elsewhere. Thanks pal
Great video, really nicely put together. If you liked the Beast then I'd recommend entering the Beast Unchained (formerly the Coed-y-Brenin Enduro). Sadly cancelled this year of course but hopefully will be back next year. It's the Beast route with a bit of high open mountain added in. Was great fun last year with torrential rain overnight making those descents pretty challenging! Really tough event but very satisfying if you manage to get through it.
That sounds like an exciting event! Coed Y Brenin usually have a number of fun events scheduled through the yeah. It’s a shame that so many events are cancelled, fingers crossed for the new year.
@@bikeandbeyond The Enduro isn't until next September anyway so fingers crossed we might be somewhere near normal by then. Make no mistake though, it's a seriously tough event over the full distance (if you aim for a good time anyway). Every year I do it I swear I'm never doing it again, always seem to come back the next year though :-). Hopefully will see you there next year! Keep up the good work with your channel, I've been really enjoying catching up on your videos (I also have an alloy Bizango 29er in my stable so am particularly enjoying following your upgrades and repairs on that, thanks for sharing.
Another great video, very professionally done. This trail looks amazing. I've only ever ridden red trails, and only ever on a 26" hardtail. I love the Penmachno trail. Would you say this is too big a step up in one go?
The beast is a definitely a long day with some tricky riding. I don't think I would fancy it on a 26'' hardtail. I have ridden Penmachno (but not for around 9 years) so cant quite remember what it is like. Coed Y Brenin has plenty amazing trails is you don't fancy doing the beast. Or you can ride some of the beast and if you decide you have had enough you can ride an easier trail back to the trail centre.
Great video, you make some really good content, are these trails signed all the way through ? I would be riding on my own and wouldn’t want to get lost…
Great Video. Thank you for the upload. Seriously hyped for The Beast now ❤🎉
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the trail!
Love the trail descriptions with voice over and a bit of on track talk .... great vid 🤘

Definitely worth a visit mate. It’s an amazing trail centre.
The first section used to be the last section ridden in the other direction many years ago when the cafe was on the other side of the road!
Great video! Glad you enjoyed this trail so much
Dope ride bro! Killing it! 🤙🔝
last time i was there was May 2017, didn't realise so much time had passed, i will have to go back soon.
Definitly time to go back👍🏻👍🏻

The editing and voice-over makes your videos rival that of skills with phill and Singltrack Sampler
Thanks man. There is still a way to go to get things as smooth as I want, but we will slowly get there!
Another amazing vid and great into 🤣
Haha thanks buddy!
Awesome video!
Love this looks good 😃👍
It is an epic trail. Well worth it!

Thanks man. I had a look back on my Strava, it's around 1030m of ascent.
Very good video. Well done
Cheers man!

@@bikeandbeyond Thank you! Good to know that there isn't really a point of no return if you can swap over to an easier trail.
Shoulda had the adams family tune playing on the section 😄
Haha, the thought genuinely crossed my mind
