Standing ovation Jay........Best drain video yet! Had to watch the whole thing. My god the water weight stress on that roof must have been insane? Great 👍 video loved it.
Wow! That is an absolutely insane amount if water on that roof! The weight must of been enormous! I like these, roof and parking lot drains that arent really vented by a proper vent or another opening really do start to get violent and "sucky" when there is enough water going down them. Love the vids! Have a good Sunday Jay! Trogna!
wow Jay hell of amount of water up on that roof be a canny weight, does that drain through the building or down the side and is that the only drain, nice drone footage 👍 👏🏻
So just below that roof is a mechanical room for the elevator and the pipe goes down into there and then break down into the basement. Thanks for watching Taylor. I hope you have yourself a great weekend
Oh the so populäre Roof. The Architects love the, then se have a complete Etage more pro House.! But the great danger by Rain is a Pool and by Storm fly away. Hihi by the next Rain the next Pool, and You a Work. Greeting from Austria 🇦🇹
Yeah I'm not too sure what the regulations for putting drains are but I would think so as well. But honestly I've also seen a lot bigger spaces with less drains. Well I guess not last because I would mean no dreams. But if you know what I mean. Thanks for watching Mike. Have yourself a great day and a great weekend.
awesome drone view, good job Jay, love the double camera, definitely can hear the drone noise, trogna dude, ps how did you get on the roof? I don't see any access or stairs, did you use a ladder?
Yeah the new drones apparently are quieter. I just don't have that kind of money yet. Let's see what happens. Maybe next year or how much I actually use it. Thanks for watching Stephanie, I appreciate it. I hope you have yourself a great weekend
@@Jaythatdrainguy no, the one you got is great, the noise is not loud at all, it's kind of soothing to hear the drone operating, no need to get a new one, you have a great weekend too Jay
Must have been waterfalls all over inside, and a full mold fiesta a year two later. Fucking moronic building desing in certain climates. Cool video, thanks man
Great job, but who was the nit wit that built this building? That was the only drain? Thats insane. The inspector allowed it? I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about, but this seems pretty obvious that this happened.
Yeah I'm not sure what the building code says for roof drains and how many you need per square foot . Thanks for watching the video Reggie and I hope you have yourself a great weekend
You know what I used to do roofing and I never even thought to ask so to be honest I don't know. I thought I heard somewhere that it keeps the heat off of the roof but I'm not sure if that's correct
Wow man this is next level footage! This video needs to go viral!! Awesome work brother!!
Thanks Bruce I hope you have an amazing weekend brother
@@Jaythatdrainguy cheers brother. You too!
I will try

Thanks a lot rod I really appreciate you saying that. I hope you have yourself a great night and week ahead.
I would think after a situation like this, they would call a couple times a year to clear this disaster. Your the best Jay! 🙂👍🇺🇸
Thanks Martin for watching the video and I hope you have yourself a great weekend

Great Video, Wow that's a lot of water💦up there!! 😎👍
Yeah it was a lot for sure thanks for watching the video and I hope you have yourself a great weekend
almost at 5k Jay, keep it up!
Thanks john
Seems like a roof that size would have more than one drain.

One drain on that large roof.
Yeah it would seem so LoL thanks for watching the video and I hope you have a great weekend
Good job Jay man, I hope there wasn't any alarm activity filming this one lol
No everything went smoothly thanks for watching
Congratulations for a magnificent video and for your technological advance, successes !!!!
Thanks for watching Ricardo and I hope you have yourself a great weekend
A good maintenance guy would be up on the roof twice a year (spring and fall) inspecting the roof and the drains...

Hi jay
How's it going. Have a great day
3" drain is pretty small for all that roof.
It seems like it eh thanks for watching the video and I hope you have a good day

Yeah, it's crazy. Thanks for watching. Have a great day. We'll see you on the next one.
Nice video but the drone is just annoying. Had to watch this video muted, sad cause I love the water sounds.
Yeah sorry about that. I definitely get what you're saying though. Have yourself a great day
For me, just seeing the work being done and the water going down the drain is enough. but good video otherwise.
Thanks for watching have a great weekend
Great job, but who was the nit wit that built this building? That was the only drain? Thats insane. The inspector allowed it? I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about, but this seems pretty obvious that this happened.
Can I ask you a question? What is the purpose of the gravel?

@@Zazu1776 It helps against heat and hail, keeps the roof in place (if it's not attached to the building) and keeps the drains clear from leaves.
