Chris sharrock is the best drummer i have ever seen. Saw him first in february 1987 ( my firsg ever gig) at Birmingham Powehouse playing with the Icicle Works... played that hard that the drums fell of the stage and had to be reassembles. Still never seen anyone as good an di have seen the top guys
really awesome how sharrock is open to working with loops as a blue print.. i've come across many drummers who are offended if they are presented a demo with a drum loop.
Noel's never been pally with the rest of the band and he has refered to himself as a loner in numerous interviews. The most pasionate song writers usually are loners Morrissey, Dylan, Cobain to name a few...

Why am I not surprised to know Andy and Noel were never close to each other?
The only people that that Thunderbirds headed muppet is 'close too' now are Bono and Elton John.
@MarcosAssmar I think they were close, but I can imagine that after a couple years of touring it's good to have some time off from each other.
