I think 224whp is closer to 270 crank than 300 not that it matters. Its a really clean profesional looking job and i bet the power delivery is perfect for blasting down country lanes or canyons. 👏👏👍👍

New Sub alert! I want this exact setup (more or less) in my '03 Baja. Sourcing the parts will probably take 1-2 years but after that I'll be looking for someone to help me get it all out together. So I'll definitely be in contact for a wiring harness.
Good build bro I saw your car along time a go when you we’re doing a sti swap at your house when I drop off my wiring harness.now my car it’s been sitting for about 4 years 😢I bought a wagon to do a usdm swap but I end up fixing the body and paint it since it was a very low mileage and wasn’t that bad the body work it need it.

Thanks! Having a box with piping would be better so there would be a volume of air ready to pull into the manifold but this is what we had available at the time.

So let's say I wanna swap a h6 into my 04 manual forester, are you the guys who do the tuning part or configuring it, I'm still learning and researching the swap but I stumbled upon I guy saying go iwire, so I swap the harness from the h6 outback, but im worried about running into the problems of the outbacks only being auto,

Interesting, it sounds more like a v6 than a flat 6. I figured it would have more of a porsche-esk sounds rather than VQ. Cool build regardless.

OK so I daily 13 3.6 R and I only live about 30 minutes from Travis and snail performance I wonder if he could tune mine unfortunately I don’t think raptor are a smog legal part😩

There was no MAF on this application since it ran Speed Density with the Standalone ECU.
Oh man, how I wish I could get you to just Ctrl-C and send that tune to me. Basically the exact same setup in my 98 LGT that you built the harness for. Progress on mine has been slow but the harness is installed and it does run on the 3.6, but it isn't finished or tuned yet
All engines/cars are a bit different so get that car finished and on the dyno!

What did you do with your maf sensor? I own a 3.0r 6 speed sedan and I can see youve removed almost all of the intake
We converted to Speed Density because we are using the Haltech ECU.

1. Can you get somewhat close numbers with a EZ30 3.0
2. Could I fit a 02-07 JDM sti v8 6spd trans onto the 3.6L ?? Or only the older EZ30 3.0L?
The EZ30R (drive by wire an AVLS) has similar numbers. The EZ30D (cable throttle non AVLS) much a fair amount less power. All of the transmissions are interchangeable so yes those 6 speed transmissions would work with either engine.
Scratch that, at 6:20 he said it needed a firmware update.
Do these guys have a wiring/computer solution for swapping the same engine into a first gen FRS/BRZ?

Very difficult to do so in an Impreza due to where the belts have to route.

Would need some hood clearance with a bump or a straight up hole.
@@iwiresubaruwiringsolutions5538 hey there.. I've been thinking about a solution for intercooling a supercharged Subaru 6 cylinder. I know it's out of left field and would need a solution with custom TGV rails, but I found a suitable 'donor'. The Audi Q7 unit has a built in intercooler that might be a ideal solution, the units are cheap and in abundance as it's used in many other models.
Maybe it's a solution, maybe it's just drivel.

@@deathtoming2201 It is cool, but only bolt-on in Legacy models that came with the 6-cylinder. For a swap car like this, you would have difficulty getting the supercharger bolted inline with the pulleys.

Maybe a little but without boost I think we pretty much maxed it out
E85 may not pick up much up top but will def beef up the midrange

The EZ30R with drive by wire and AVLS does make about the same as the 3.6.

So the takeaway is that tribeca engines BLOW SO BADLY. I traded my 06’ Tribeca for an ‘08 G37s Coupe and it was an upgrade on gas, reliability, looks, and power. Tribeca’s suck on literally every level of that ladder, and their shitty boxer 6’s make literally over 100-150hp less than a traditional V6 of the same displacement.

Am I missing something? This is a straight up downgrade from a WRX motor. Is it not? For real someone educate me because I’m at a total loss why you’d put a heavier engine in your car that makes less base hp than the lighter engine that was originally in there.
