Nasty, first time I noticed them was when I bought a citrus tree from a big box store 20 years ago. The tree was infested with them and they soon spread all over.
I saw them in Florida. I stood on the ant hill that was under a water faucet and got stung all over.
@@techshabby0001 we don't have fire anthills in Hawaii, they live in the trees and in cracks in the ground where there's water
Why does the video thumbnail show what looks like kalo plants instead of fire ants? It gives the impression that the plants are invasive, which feels like a poor choice of imagery. That said, the reporting is solid-the government really needs to step up before this turns into a catastrophe, like what happened with the coconut rhinoceros beetles.

My sister in Texas used to get COFFEE GROUNDS from STARBUCKS (Use if there's no pets) I think the caffiene kills the ants?
Feed them in a specific place, and they won't walk all over your kitchen looking for food.

We had red ants at keaukaha dugout but these things are like nano bot type shit please give solutions we know the damage effect…. Oahu eradicated fire ants but the rest of the state is not as important
