    I spent 2 hours in Google trying to find the amount of each ingredient that go into ube jam . Then. UA-cam finally showed up on the screen . Thank you UA-cam for saving me from debilitating boredom.

    oh wow sigurado akong masarap na naman ito! natakam naman ako lalo kasi napanood ko ng buo kung paano mo ito ginawa.
    Ang lagi ka-cravings mo sa araw-araw, nag-iwan nga pala ulit ako ng 1 basket na berries, pakibalik na lang sa kastilyo ko ang basket.

    Now, No need to use food coloring. You can buy an UBE condensed milk at any asian stores. Sometimes they are hard to find, but where I live there are an abundance in stock.

    Hello from Indonesia.. From what I know, ube jam has a short shelf life in room temperature.. If I want to bake buns or cookies with this ube jam as fillings, will it affect the buns/cookies' shelf life? (I'm sorry if my question is quite confusing, I don't really speak English.. 🙇🏻‍♀️ I hope you can answer my question..) Thank you, have a blessed day 😊🙏🏻

      Ube Jam needs to be refrigerated. If you makes buns, yes, it will need to be consumed within 3 days or refrigerate the buns as you can always warm it up. For cookies, you will be mixing the jam with the cookie batter anyway.

      I haven't tried mixing it with pandesal. Ang pwede mo gawin lagay mo sa loob ng pandesal ksama ng cheese.

      1 week or 2 weeks in airtight container and that depends sa temp accuracy ng ref mo. I have learned that nung luma ang ref ko ang bilis masira ng food, gulay madali malanta pero I got a new one and it has digital temp in front na I can set, since then mas matagal ang food sa ref.

      Etong ginawa ko on Sept 4, I placed it in the fridge using the container on the video and up to now, of the containers kasi I've been testing it is still good. No molds yet.

      I made this recipe on Sept 5. Placed in jars shown on the video and kept in the fridge. Up to this date I still have 2 jars left and they are still good. No molds.

      Hello hindi ako nagbebenta. Nilalagay ko lang sa jar para magka-idea. Recipe ito ng nanay ko and ever since hindi sya naglalagay ng gata sa halaya. Masarap ito. Try mo. :)

    You don't need food color, the jam will darken naturally as the milk solids in the milk and butter, the sugar, and the ube itself are toasted by long cooking.

      At that time walang ube condensed milk na itinitinda dito sa US. Also the ube is flavor and not just food color if you look at the McCormick ube flavor's label.

      You can use white ube. Then instead of white condense milk there's an Ube flavored condense milk. There is also a ube colored flavoring.
