We pulled out all the stops to make sure the Rattler will get you all the amazing tones of great early 80s ProCo RAT® distortion boxes and put in the time and R&D to make it more responsive to picking and fretting nuances resulting in an open, dynamic, overdriven tube-amp feel!
Its asymmetrical clipping circuit, carbon comp resistors and of course the legendary NOS LM308N chip, the featured star of this design, are the main ingredients of a great recipe resulting in the Rattler shining through any rig, whether modern or vintage.

Let me first say that The Rattler sounds so epically good that I am literally buying one now. However, am I the only person that doesn't really think it sounds like a RAT? It actually sounds more like a roid'd up Tube Screamer to me - especially at lower gain settings.

i really doubt if this pedal can achieve fuzzy tone.... i will probably take a PROCO rat is cheaper and still a massive astounding pedal, "it can't do low gain" no, it can do it.

If I could find a similar sounding Rat-like distortion pedal with a 3-band EQ instead of the single tone/filter pot, I'd be all over that.
