Venbee is actually pretty dope. Die Young is another good One by her. And yes, Venbee made the song first, then Ren remixed by adding a verse. I do wish both of them had longer verses, but it’s still great as it is.
This song blew me away from the very first time I heard it. It is awesome on it's own. With Ren though. I may sound crazy but I can't be the only one who felt this way. Ren completely lights up the whole track and the room without even having a video to it. you can just feel a different heartbeat and soul in the song as soon as he opens his mouth. ❤
Yes, Venbee is getting traction in the UK and touring. Her original made it onto popular radio along with a few of her other tracks (including collaborations), however the remix didn't unfortunately. I believe there is a video clip of Ren's part on his page or insta somewhere I saw....
This one sticks in my head for days each time I listen. So underrated. You're spot on, her version came out first and they connected and she wanted him to collab and he remixed the track a bit (made it punchier) and added a verse.
So happy to see someone react to this. ! I Think Ren explains how he came about this way back on his community page. Don’t remember where I first saw the clips for this, but I really like it. ✌🏽🔥
Venbee is lit. This was released before Ren added his vocals. This is the lowest charting of her 4 UK chart releases. Her biggest hit, Messy In Heaven, is a banger (it reached number 3 in the UK charts and has spent 49 weeks in the top 100 since it's release last year).
Venbee is a really fantastic in her own right. Her music is such a cool chilled down to earth vibe and perfect to get lost in with some real summer type anthems which are massive earworms.. More please.
You know I had to throw this into a live stream 🤣. I also hit him with some Trick the fox 1 or 2 streams before this. That was a fun one. I love even people pretty familiar with his current stuff getting awe struck by "baby ren".🤣
I find myself being surprised by the number of people seemingly surprised by the concept of crossovers. In my memory especially the 90s were full of rappers, rapping on rock songs, metalheads experimenting with electronics or guys around Bristol, mixing some sort of old timey jazz & blues tunes with ambient electronic music ( a sub-genre called Trip-Hop back then). For me that´s definetely one reasons, why the 90s were probably the most exciting period in music, I can remember. And it´s certainly part of my fascination with MuRenSic ( which obviously describes Ren´s genre best;).
Totally. And then moving on into the 2000s, genre-mixing and mash-ups were really popular in clubs too. I used to go to a club in Glasgow and Edinburgh called Optimo (Espacio) which was known (still is) for putting all kinds of genres over electro/techno/tech-house/ glitch beats. Was amazing for folk like me who had a love for *almost* every music genre. I’m pretty sure I danced to The Rapture over a d’n’b beat in a field at a comedy festival mid-Wales about ten years ago. Was this just an European thing? Went to NYC in the mid-2000s and it was a job trying to find a pre-club bar and club like Optimo there, but we found one in Williamsburg through word-of-mouth through a guy working in a record shop. Mind you, there was a bizarre ban on dancing in venues that didn’t have a dance licence at the time. Back to your point, it also surprises me - but I’ve heard so many non-UK/European reactors comment on how they’ve never heard rap over dance music (or EDM as they say) that the surprise has morphed into a curiosity. Geographical thing? Social thing? Generational thing? Exposure thing?
@@Mezzystar1 Those were the times, lol. Crossovers were really quite common on both sides of the pond, I´d say. However, in general I think, Europe was more electro & techno infested, while America was more hip-hop and grunge heavy. I guess one can always argue, where a sub-genre begins and what exactly makes a cross-over. Regarding younger folks- I think they were often raised in a time, when many genres took a more traditionalist/ purist approach, which- and that´s only my personal view- led to some sort of inbreeding, making many things quite boring for multi-genre music lovers. A certain unwillingness to dive into controvercial stuff came on top- you know, people feelings could get hurt ;) Thanks for replying. Loved Mazzy Star, I suppose you heard of them ;) Cheers
@@elwray3506 Those were indeed the times! Loved your thoughts on this. I remember rappers from the US like Gold Chains (San Francisco-based perhaps?) playing over here in the UK quite often in the 2000s. Blimey, he put on the best live shows with his muse Sue Cie in tiny venues, mixing hip-hop, techno, punk, rock, indie, electro and whatever loops and bleeps he felt like. I guess they were considered underground or alternative rap back then. I think there’s even a Stereolab riff in his banger Rock the Parti! Edit: Yes, Mazzy Star ❤️
@@Mezzystar1 Did not remember Gold Chains, so I looked it up and yeah, there could well be some Stereolab hidden in there. Never been much of a hip-hop head, but hey, the magic is always in the mix and Ren makes me discover sides to my taste in music, I hardly ever discovered. Loved the "Cool Britain" of these days. Let´s hope for a revival. All the best from the continent!
I was already obsessed with Ren and heard he was going to feature on one of Venbee's songs. Went to see what she's about and was hooked on what was available at the time. This track fit Ren perfectly. I love the original by itself but Ren just brings fire wherever he goes.
This song is dope in the first place, been played a bit on UK media outlets or socials. But then Ren shakes his magic fries on it and multiplies its appeal!
Im 52 now in 22 years iv had many ops, 4 life saving my body looks like iv been slashed, stabbed attacked by Voldimore and a daily car crash. So i was 49 when my hart shredded so when i turned 50, f-me how did that happen, oh yeh, thanks NHS.
It maybe good if you heard the original. And you can see what Ren did to it. Venbee is a good artist. If you have time listen to some of her other songs. Not necessarily to react to them. But to hear what she does.
I was wondering why the sound was so low yet usually your sound is so high quality. Then I realize it's not my phone volume, nor your volume. But rather the stupid dial volume on my headphones. Love my kids! I really do.. 😅 With that said, I gotta replay it. MUCH ❤️

VenBee's full version is fantastic - and Ren dropping in just adds the spice :)

Venbee is an enigma in her own right. Check out one of the many versions of 'Messy in Heaven'
i like low down, venbee is fire!!
I came here to suggest messy in heaven too. That song is my go to driving song.
This one sticks in my head for days each time I listen. So underrated.
You're spot on, her version came out first and they connected and she wanted him to collab and he remixed the track a bit (made it punchier) and added a verse.
This song is easily at my top10 of Ren. It is so underrated but so relatable.
And Ren's verse coming in with all those angst is just crazy fire 🔥🔥🔥!

I've been jamming to this song since it came out. I'm glad to see somebody react to it.
Ren seems to love collaboration with others that he vibes with; rising tide philosophy, in spades.
And then there is 40 and then 50 and then more if we’re lucky. I love this. ♥️♥️🔥🔥
This is another brilliant track for the ever-growing Ren playlist, really love this remix. Great reaction as well.
I love this song in both versions.
Venbee asked him to do a verse on her song, I remember when it came out
Venbee is amazing but Ren coming in just took this to the next level! Love it ❤❤❤
Venbee is a really fantastic in her own right. Her music is such a cool chilled down to earth vibe and perfect to get lost in with some real summer type anthems which are massive earworms..

❤.....everything rEN touches suggests is magical
Such a great collaboration by two highly talented artists😊🎉❤
Ren came in all straight up SICK!!!
Venbee is one of several artists I've discovered through Ren that i really enjoy.
I love this song! 🔥🔥🔥
"Like the beast he is"
:love.
Fashionably laten but I have been obsessed with this song, thank you for your reaction💚🤗🍀

I'd heard some of venbee's stuff before and she is really a delight to listen to, but hearing Ren remix and add to it was just.... chef's kiss!
Venbee is 🔥 and Ren will always have a special place in my heart❤
Also, he's the only artist in a long time that my husband and I both like 😂
I think this is Rens way of giving some shine to Venbee because she deserves it.
i think all her songs are great!! wish she had more! give her a look cliff👍you wont be disappointed

Yes it was exactly like you suspected. Came out first as her song and then Ren remixed it.
Ren just blows others outta the park. Venbee is an interesting artist too. She has had a bit of radio play here in the Uk.
So glad you reacted to this! Totally underrated song. Wish it were longer!
Have always vibed to this one ❤❤❤ Glad you got to this xx
Thanks Cliff❤❤
I can't get enough of hearing this bro 💯🔥❗❗
Awesome reaction as always thanks mate x
Yup, he heard it, vibed with it and jumped in...
Chills already and the Ren came in and I just had an out of body experience.
Whoa!! This is amazing!!
Love this track and Venbee 's original one of this.
Check out Venbee's "messy in heaven"❤
Excelente 👌
👍👍👍👍
🔥❤✌
I think I remember Ren hinting at doing a proper Collab with Venbee when he is back in the UK. Which would be 🔥 if it did happen
SHEEEEEEEEESH
Love it so much
Still love this song 🎉
Yes, this is a remix after the original
It's prolly my favorite
My first time hearing this. This a good one. Hell, when i was in high school, i thought I'd be in a wheelchair by now, and im in my 40s.
👍
Love this song. Great reaction

Wow, awesome!!
This is a great song /remix
Venbee really good

Genial
This song is dope in the first place, been played a bit on UK media outlets or socials. But then Ren shakes his magic fries on it and multiplies its appeal!
This is so freaking awesome!!! Those lyrics! How the f--k am I 60?!?! FIRE!!!
I turned 50 recently and I still thought how the F am I fifty?! But I am here, might as well enjoy the ride ☺ what a great song this is!
From a recovering junkie .

Hi Cliff, OK first time, Venbee sounds good...☝️🤓
Dooopppeee
Ren rates Venbee. Think this was him passing his good fortune on to help promote Venbee.
#like
Sure there’s a video for this one with ren 🌺
I was wondering when people are going to react to this.
Venbee released this then Ren did this
Im 52 now in 22 years iv had many ops, 4 life saving my body looks like iv been slashed, stabbed attacked by Voldimore and a daily car crash. So i was 49 when my hart shredded so when i turned 50, f-me how did that happen, oh yeh, thanks NHS.

Hey everyone
Venbee is a great artist you should react to messy in heaven
How about for Throwback Thursday you watch Donde Quiera Que Estes by Selena ft Barrio Boys
How the f*ck am I 58?
I was wondering why the sound was so low yet usually your sound is so high quality. Then I realize it's not my phone volume, nor your volume. But rather the stupid dial volume on my headphones. Love my kids! I really do.. 😅
With that said, I gotta replay it.
MUCH ❤️
Ok, this is fcking sick af! Also reminds of the electronic shit I played on repeat in the 90's. Playlist worthy.
First time I’ve seen a reaction from you in my feed in a while. You used to show up in my feed every day. Not sure what’s going on
UA-cam has de-amplified my channel. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.
Mint song like it’s in my playlist and I don’t really like dubstep
The original has a 2nd verse from venbee...thats where Ren remixed, he replaced the 2nd verse with his own.
Try 72
Also Gotta do King Park by La Dispute bro! I know you would appreciate the storytelling in that! Shit hits deep
👍
Venbee asked him to do a verse on her song, I remember when it came out
