I'm assuming he is Chilean, his school is at the Singaporean Space Academy on a distant solar system, and he had to cross the Bering Strait as well as go all the way through an underground Korean train station, presumably on foot instead of going on the trains. Which (guys trust my math) is all located in 20 miles.
edit: Nevermind, Chile was just a stop during his travel from his home from the sun and all of the aforementioned things were on a distant solar system.

Sit tight, in 1940s i was just walking my way to my local school, when the Germans attacked us, i had to keep moving. But i couldnt, i had to fight for my family. Me and my brother joined the army and began fighting for our freedom. One day a heavy loaded crew of nazi's attacked our area, my brother got 2 shotwounds, it was cold and rainy. I held him in my arms, crying and sobbing, then he spoke his last words: "Make sure you get to school, brother. You can do it, i believe in you, i love you.." Then he passed away.. So i left the army and began walking to the direction to school, about 1000 - 1500 kilomiters to go. In the 1960s i was caught up in the vietnam war, i was 35 years old, i had to fight in order to achieve my journey. It was a tough war, especially when i met this vietnamese guy. He was friendly and we were both on the verge of death. We escaped the warzone and lived in the forest far away, i never caught his name. Because he was vietnamese, When we turned 42 we split up, greeted eachother on our ways. He was a good guy, i never spoke to him since. I had to cross the Chinese border, the Russian Border, the Mongolian border in order to finally reach England. A guy named Scott promised me to smuggle me into America via shipment. I have entered the United States, with no money, no house, no family.. After another 2 years i have achieved my destination, i had to climb mountains, withold tornado's, i had to flee from a vulcano eruption. I have achieved school. I went there and thought about my Brother, my friend, my mother's tearing eyes as soon i joined the army. It was terrible, but yet still i had no regrets going that journey. It made me stronger, masculine. Later on i began to make money, i bought myself a house and met your grandma, we got your mother as our only child. And now she gave life to you.." in all fairness having to walk across an interstate wifi is a pretty realistic and believable scenario. I can even somewhat buy him having to walk 20 miles to school if we're combining it with the interstate highway story

probably took years of practising, patience trial and error and many sleepless nights
i have past experience with blender animation so i picked up moon animation easily. not saying my animations are good, but they are decent. it took maybe a year ish? im not as good as them though so they have more experience
I only do FPS animations but still, it took me around 1 or 2 years to get somewhat good at animating. I'm still trying to improve myself

Fun fact: a tree does not supply enough cover. It is more concealment than cover. Similar to a car. The only part of a car that can stop a bullet is the engine block.
Edit: Some trees *may* stop handgun bullets and others can stop like anti-tank rounds. It depends on the round size and type

A Coastal Redwood (Look it up) can stop light explosives, as they are the heaviest and tallest trees on earth, and one of these behemoths could most likely stop a M82 Barrett round, one of the most powerful non-explosive bullets ever made. Also yes I have visited the Coastal Redwood forest myself, and when you enter, you can't stop looking up in wonder of seeing these truly massive trees
