    Feeding the soil so the soil can feed the plant is something I have always said. I do like organic fertilizers and since Im more of a lawn guy, I have used Milorganite in my lawn for a long time, till I got even more serious with my lawn care and did a soil test! BIG EYE OPENER! With the consent use of Milorganite my "P" levels have sky rocketed, they are literally off the charts! Now I been working a years to reduce my "P", oh and to make matters worse, Milorganite has no "K", so now Im high on "P" and extremely low on "K", I only bring this up to let other lawn guys know, its ok maybe to use the product on occasion, or if you are low on "P" (Thats why I always suggest a soil test every year), I would not use this product on a regular basis, just my opinion. Remember, organic fertilizers dont usually have any "K"
    Thanks for the video - nice channel

      Hi, Michael - Please check the package for the application rates for the ferilizer product you are using. If using Milorganite® mix into the soil to the rooting depth prior to planting and then again halfway through the growing season. Also add 2-3 inches of organic matter (compost) to your soil, and mulch around plants to combat weeds and conserve water. Can you mix all these organic type fertilizers and make one big all purpose mix?

    • @MilorganiteFertilizer
      @MilorganiteFertilizer  4 роки тому +1

      Organic fertilizers contain nutrients just like synthetic fertilizers and should not be combined but used as directed on the label. Milorganite is an all-purpose slow-release nitrogen fertilizer that can be used safely on lawns, flowers, vegetables, shrubs, and trees, as well as a carrier when spreading grass seed. • @MilorganiteFertilizer

      Hi, With Milorganite slow-release fertilizer you don’t have to worry about streaks, stripes, or accidentally burning your lawn! It contains virtually no salts, so it won’t burn plants, even in the hottest temperatures or driest conditions. You don’t have to water it in. It’ll stay in the soil ready to work when moisture becomes available. www.milorganite.com/using-milorganite/why-use-milorganite

    Strange, you say synthetic fertilizers can’t be distinguished by the plants, natural nutrients don’t have that gasoline flavor that’s so common in our supermarkets= chemical fertilizers. People act like I have MSG in my vegetables and actually it’s Rabbit and chicken manure.
