  • With a European Blue Card which is called EU card, you can live and work in 25… European… countries.
So If you're interested in migrating to Europe, this video is for you.
Some Other Benefits of this EU Blue card is that you may get equal treatment to EU nationals and the best part is that you can bring your own family with you and THEY CAN WORK INDEPENDENTLY!!!
Furthermore, after living in a country with an EU blue card for 5 years - u can apply for permanent residency in that particular European Country.
So my today’s Agenda is :
0:58 What is an EU Blue card?
1:57 What is its eligibility criteria?
3:22 How to find a Job for a European Blue Card visa ?
3:51 Process to apply EU Blue Card / Where to apply European Blue card visa ? How can you apply for the EU Blue Card from your own country with a complete application process?
    Agenda 1
What is an EU Blue Card?
An EU Blue Card gives the right to Non-EU citizens to live and work in a European country.
The EU Blue Card is valid in 25 of the 27 EU countries. Apart from Denmark and Ireland, you can work in any of the European countries with an EU Blue Card.
EU Blue Card is normally valid for 24 months.
In case, your work contract is for a shorter period than 24 months then a further 3 months’s relaxation can be assigned once your work contract ends.
You can find all the relevant information regarding EU Blue Card by visiting an official portal of the European Commission’s EU immigration.
    Link : immigration-po...
This portal provides information on the EU Blue Card, including eligibility criteria, application process and benefits. After visiting this portal, you can also find links to the national immigration authorities of the EU Member States. A link to this portal is also given in the description.
    Agenda 2
Eligibility Criteria / Who can apply for an EU Blue Card?
To be eligible for an EU Blue Card, you must meet the following criteria:
    1. You must be a non-EU citizen.
    2. You must have a job offer from a company in an EU country that pays a salary that is at least 1.5 times the average salary in that country. Your binding job offer or work contract should be valid for at least 1 year in an EU country. If you want to know which jobs are in high demand and what certifications are needed for them, make sure to watch this video.
    3. You must prove that you have 'higher professional qualifications', by showing your university degree or professional diploma certificate. Some Member States may also accept at least five years of relevant professional experience. If you are not having a professional degree then you must have at least five years of professional experience of a level comparable to higher education qualifications. Remember! Your professional experience of 5 years must match the profession of work contract or sector specified in a binding job offer.
    4. You must work as a paid employee because EU Blue Card does not apply to self-employed work or entrepreneurs.
    5. You must have health insurance.
    Agenda 3
    How to Find a Job?
European employers use different services and communication tools to post their job vacancies. They can post them directly on their website or they can use other channels such as: public employment services, private employment agencies and recruitment agencies.
There are also some specialised websites and publications promoting European jobs.
Thus, you may use websites like Linkedin, reed, indeed and Glassdoor to find your dream job.
    Agenda 4
Process to Apply EU Blue Card/ Where to Apply Blue Card?
The process for applying for an EU Blue Card varies from country to country; however, the general process is as follows:
    Step 1:
Once you get a job offer of minimum one year, then you or your employer must submit an application for an EU Blue Card to the competent national authorities in the country where you wish to work.
Once again, you may check full details on the European Commission website whose link is given below in the description.
    Step 2:
Contact the immigration authorities in the country where you will be working to find out the specific application requirements.
    Step 3:
Gather the required documents, such as your passport, degree certificate, job offer,
    Step 4:
Fill out the application form and submit it to the immigration authorities. Make sure it is error-free and all details are correct to your knowledge.
    Step 5:
Pay the application fee which will cost around €100 on average. You may also be required to cover additional costs like medical examinations, translations and other related documents.
    Step 6:
Attend an interview with the immigration authorities.
    Step 7:
Finally, if your application is approved, you will be issued an EU Blue Card within the 90 days. .

Do you have an official source for this? The EU BlueCard is still issued by a specific country, for a specific job. It is not valid for employment in other EU countries. IF specific requirements are met, time spent in one EU country under BlueCard CAN be counted towards PR when subsequently working in another EU country under a BlueCard that the second country has issued.
