A few of you guys have been asking what the animations for the cars are. The mods used for that are filibusters used cars few of k15s cars mods Vanilla Vehicle Enhancer Vanilla vehicle animations (not sure tbh if the last one is installed or not but it might be)
Some I'd recommend : More Descriptions for Traits Plain Moodles Clear description for Moodles Disassemble container with items Nested Containers I don't need a lighter Stack All Pumps have Propane Reorder Duplicates by Condition
Nested containers is something I can't play without now that I have it if you like nested containers I recommend "FOOLS container's" thank me later🤣 (if you download it always check totes and cardboard boxes never have stuff spawn in them from what I've seen)
7:51 I didn't even know that exists. I've always wondered why opening car hoods is so incredibly slow. I guess it's to account for you basically doing a diagnostics of the entire car. But it still feels a bit too much.
I cant help feel like Most of these mods SHOULD already be in the game, Like true actions mods, where you can sit down, lay down ,sleep etc. These should already be in the game, same health of items bar. The developers seem pretty incapable or have not applied the polish, Like the ladder mod , should already pre exist as you said
100% agree most of these mods should be base game. Though there are good updates the devs are working on so we can hope to see some of these implemented
The devs are evidently very "capable".. it's almost like they have different priorities for what they choose to update the game with. Keep in mind that the game is technically still in early access, which clearly means that the developing team is more focused on large gameplay updates/additions rather than focusing on minute QOL updates. I get if you don't agree with that, but framing the devs as "incapable" is really retarded imo. Obviously it would be nice if a lot of these things were added to the game. But for all we know, maybe large system overhauls/additions (think of the new smithing mechanic for example) could make some of these things "not function". For the ladder example, we already functionally have ladders in sheet ropes. Perhaps with the build 42 updates to building height that will change. As in they are waiting for certain large mechanics to be finished before they make QOL changes, which may be directly influenced by these large mechanics.
Really solid list, I use almost all of these and the ones I don't I'm probably going to add to the list! Thanks for the great video, I have a friend who is just starting in PZ and is branching out to try their first mods. I know the perfect video to show them to start their modded PZ journey!
One mod that will never leave my modlist is Inventory Tetris, I love the organization options that come with it, I personally prefer the beta 6 preview for some of the features it adds including controller support (for some of my friends who play controller) but it's a little harder to find patches for.
I heard you say about having the fanny pack as a emergency storage I use my front fanny pack for my smokes and can opener and the back one for pills and stitches
@@FreeStamps they're perfect for those things I need not too often I favorited the can opener so I just open a few cans out of a container they go into my inventory opened and I automatically put the can opener back but I still have to put the pills back
I use most of those, as for map stuff I go with map drawing or something like that, it allows drawing on the map as well as changing size of the symbols, for me it's enough (yeah, I use the sailboat to mark cars with key, lol)
I find it hilarious how a decent portion of the footage uses Vanilla Vehicles Animated. And yet there is no mention that this is a mod. A real sale of the "this should be base game" kind of mod...
Tbh I could be wrong here but in the footage most of the cars If not all are k15 mods. Which have fully animated doors and interiors. The red police car is the only one I’m not sure if it’s k15 or filibusters used cars which I think also has animations.

Okayy good to know. The footage is easily a month old, could have vva in there but I didn’t think it did. Either way pinned a comment addressing the animated cars For anyone else who asks.
Not gonna lie, I like the difficulty of zomboid that most of these mods remove. I’m not a diehard vanilla player, I still use mods, but I can’t help but feel like most of these mods just make the game more unrealistic (like checking all the storages at once instead of rummaging through each one or using Better Sorting item categories to find a specific item instead of searching for it yourself). Nevertheless, all these mods are actually very useful for beginners, and if I had a buddy to recommend the game to I’ll make sure to show them all these mods, just to give them a decent jumpstart. And even if most of these mods make the game way too easy… hey, to each their own, and I still found a few of them pretty useful! So thanks for the list!

Well there are some mods really usefull here! Thanks mate! *,..,*

Hey buddy the build menu mod isn't in your list in the description do you happen to have the name of that build menu or whatever mod?
Its been updated now.. that was pointed out a month or so ago and i completely forgot to update that.
Great video
That mod you have that gives cars interiors and animations looks cool, whats the name of it?
just to let you know, not every mod introduced here is listed in the modlist linked in your description.
ie, the Building Menu is missing
Hmm thank you I’ll fix that!
Nice video. What mod are you using to show the car doors and hoods open? I dont think you mentioned it
Thanks man and That’s is a modded car by k15 I think the name is Range Rover classic. Some modded cars include fully animated doors and things.
Most if not all of k15s are that way. Very well made modded cars
There is a mod to animate all base game cars I can’t remember it for the life of me though
Will check my list though and see if I can find it

are the mods used in the thumbnail listed?
Not all of them, the car is by k15 the grass and over growth is 10 years later. The only one that is mentioned in the video is the mini health overlay
at the start of the video why are the aproaching zeds moving so slow?
It’s Slow shamblers I think, I like slower the walking dead style with a bigger horde
