Great work! Keep at it with the red shouldered hawk. They tend to be pretty cooperative in the fall and winter, especially if it's just warm enough for them to hunt anoles and crayfish. The ant fungus photos were awesome!

I find it difficult to say which are my favourite images, definitely the zombie ant but all the bird images are wonderful too. I am very pleased that you share with us all here.
Wildlife, macro, honestly whatever - if you photographed it I'd be keen to see it. Really nice work and fun to see a different part of the world as you wander about.

You said I was not thrilled with the shot due to the quality loss and I looked at the footage and got confused that was a great shot man my camera wouldn’t let me do that in a billion years love the photos 👍
Like you Trey I broaden the photographic scope a little as we move into winter ( but still with a bias towards macro shots ) as spring approaches though start itching to get the macro gear focused on the very diverse family of inverts. Nothing wrong though with maybe dropping the occasional bird trip into the u-tube mix. You achieved some nice sharp footage / images in this one my friend. 👍
I assume that is somt sort of Cordyceps, that is so cool that you were able to see that and even cooler that you have some killer shots. That is something I've been wanting to see! Love the bird photography too! Especially the Red-Shouldered Hawk! Do you use iNaturalist?
Great video and yes some wildlife photography would be awesome. I wanted to warn you about the weak tripod mounts on E-M5 and OM-5. I just broke mine so try not to walk around with the camera mounted on the tripod mount. If the lens has a mount (like your 300mm does) then it's fine to mount it on that. Breaking gear is heartbreaking.
