Huge shout out to everyone at RPM for building this badass car!! It was definitely worth sending it over there. Sucks I bought this thing from a dealership with the heads cam FBO not knowing who did the work, but you live and you learn. Super glad I was able to send it out to someone I could trust! Hopefully she’ll be back there soon for some boost. P.S. (Sorry Matt for the headache of a car lol😂)
Finding a trustworthy shop is by far one of the hardest things to do these days. You just really never know anymore, people don't take pride in their work. Good to see this shop takes pride in making sure its good. I've dealt with bad shops twice, it removes any enjoyment in the cars, the track or the scene.
First lets say congrats to Matt for ending a bad cycle prior relation lmao!!!! Every man knows that bs life especially when they wanna pop up when you happy.
Man I am loving your show. It's the full gamut of Camaro styles, colors ...and the camaroaderie 😅 in the shop that make me want to to tune my 2018 SS 6mt 17,489 miles. Can my car be remotely tuned?
My lt1 pump gave up the ghost after going booted for about 15000 miles. I put an lt4 pump in and gained 40 ft lbs accross the midrange on the retune on the stock injectors. But I agree, you should not need an LT4 high side in a cam and bolt ons setup.
Wish i woulda sent mine to rpm when i had the chance. wasted 5k at a garage here and they damaged a brand "new" engine and parts. 6k-8 k later i may have my car back in a drivable state and i have to now deal with potentially taking them to court. Learn from my mistake. if u have the chance and they have an opening, send that shit to rpm. Mine has a collapsed lifter and an exploded rocker arm / trunnion needle bearing in the oil pan. much love to you guys and thanks again.
I have heard mention now several times of LT1 / 6th Gen cracked pistons. Mostly on your channel (which I love BTW), so question..... Does this only "commonly" occur on boosted Camaro's, whereas say a stock, non tuned, no work done aside of installing a CAI would not fail? I am trying to gauge and prepare for anything that might happen to my '17 50th Anniversary edition. I don't plan on tracking it, and so far the only thing I have done that fits what I want is the Range Technology AFM disabler, and an aftermarket CAI (K&N Roto Molded ). I do plan on potentially getting either a JMS PedalMax or something, and an aftermarket exhaust, but that is basically it for this particular one. I plan on getting a 24 model (ordered) and modifying it, but the '17 is being mostly left alone. Thanks in advance!
@@RaceProvenMotorsports Thank you for the reply. Can I get a tune "ordered" and if so is that something I can pay you guys for ? The place I live, there is not a tune shop near me, the closest I could possibly go would be ST Louis, MO which is over 2 hours drive from me. Can I send in my VIN or ECU code and get a tune that way with a flasher, or should I just bite the bullet and provision time for a trip?
You guys do amazing work. I wish you were closer. I just took my 6th gen in to have a set of headers put on. What I saw didn't inspire confidence. Guess ill find out tomorow when i pick it up.
Never date women. Save your money and sanity. Buy expensive cars instead. They’re reliable and put a smile on your face. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
I've had camaros and vettes. They compete in 2 separate market segments. I loved both but people who nothing about cars compare apples to oranges all the time!
For starters this obviously is not my money and it's not my car this is just my opinion or a question. If I had this car from the beginning and started doing these engine mods, I probably would have gone to a supercharger before I would have gone to E. Especially now after going to a brand new motor and re doing everything under the hood, that car would no longer be naturally aspirated

Love the longer video! Great job Matt! Chasing down those issues and fixing correctly… NICE..
I agree the longer episodes are really nice.

Fuck yes, I love these long videos.
That was a hard build, well done Matt for solving this problem.
Great episode 😎😎😎👍👍👍

Old EP. The look on Eric’s face, hand gesture and disgust “that girls trash” had me rollin’😂
I bet that rear spoiler is good for an extra 3/10ths slower at the drag strip.
And it looks terrible.
Dam, would like to hear from the owner on what happened. Good work as always guys and thanks for another ride along!👍🏻

We have seen stock cars break. Please don’t waste your money on the mods you mentioned getting. A tune will do all of that

I have a Canadian 2022 1SS 1LE M6 because I live in an igloo and if I change the gauges to Imperial I get a 330 mph speedometer.
Would you guys consider the cam that went in this car more of an NA cam vs a blower style cam? Much overlap?
Nice work As Usual Matt Love watching this crew get shit done
Orange crush camaro’s are the sickest looking camaro’s
I’d like to see next time you do a clutch with remote bleeder what your process is to bleed a clutch
I would like to officially say Matt's Coordination Skill Attribute points went all into his Charisma Skill Attribute.
Any break in period for the engine or just full send?
Matt’s the grumpiest mean old man of the shop. 😂
Good video from start to finish 🦅
Sad what happened to the guy but glad he got it to the right shop.
How do you guys plug the afm towers?
Put a diff valley cover on it
Love the content! Keep it up!
wild diag on that steering rack nice job
I've ran into more than a few people at car meets that think the peak number on the speedometer is an indication of the vehicles performance lmao
Could watch Matt all day 😂🤣
Absolutely love this channel ❤️
Other than the comment not said by the mechanics these guys rock they do amazing work my go too for any GM mod knowledfe
Best shop 😍
You guys are witch doctors by salvaging that engine and making it run better than before.
You guys do amazing work. I wish you were closer. I just took my 6th gen in to have a set of headers put on. What I saw didn't inspire confidence. Guess ill find out tomorow when i pick it up.
sounds like he was chasing demons before it blew up. He'll be very happy.
Nice color on that Camaro
Matt is the best !!! 😊
Look like there gon be some changes round here😆
To the owner we want details on the previous shop
Maybe the tow company did something to f**k the rack? Wouldn't put it past them since the f**ked the frame, too...
Fran, can you please add lambda in addition to the air fuel?
The Fran commentary is the video....... IMHOP
Probably a Canadian car originally, they all say 330km/h
Like love that like color. Car like really is like sweet....like
FN 330 bro!🤣

Been saying that for years!
So much for the LT1 having a forged crank = bullet proof crank.
330mph lol, to awesome\
SHE SAID "WHO CARES ITS A CAMERO "! LIKE CORVETTES HAVE CHANGED AT ALL IN 60 YEARS FOH
I've had camaros and vettes. They compete in 2 separate market segments. I loved both but people who nothing about cars compare apples to oranges all the time!
$uckin guys are a hoot. What the holy broke the crank is going on?
I see ford in the background 🤓
Pretty sure it has a 330 kilometer per hour speedometer not a mph
I’m pretty sure you’re wrong. I was clearly staring right at it
a 330 MPH speedometer on anything with wheels on it is hilarious.
That wing is hideous!
This looks like 'itsjusta6' camaro
The only similarity between this car and itsjusta6 Camaro is the color and tail lights that’s it 😂
wow 570 hp gains LOL
Poor cámara 🎥 guy take’s a lot of crap he’s even afraid to ask questions 🤣 toxic work place
Most workplaces are toxic. It's a group of people who kick their own ass all week long to make shout the owner get rich.
First
Congratulations.
Matt, please, please, we can do without your singing! and every word *uck out of you guys mouths!
Lots of issues with chevy vehicles lately. Just proves why chevy has always been trash!

It was literally said in the future it will be boosted.
