- Today’s video is my eyeshadow palette declutter for 2019! In order to keep my collection from getting out of hand again, I’ve changed my purchasing habits for 2019. I am also more selective about which PR products I accept. Makeup is fun and it’s totally okay to purchase new products, but one of my goals in 2019 is to be more intentional about my makeup purchases.

I can't get rid of the Naked 3. My husband surprised me with it when it very first came out. It was so sweet because I had just mentioned I thought it was nice and he was paying attention. He drove almost an hour each way to a nearby city to get it for me :) So even though I have no use for it now, I just can't let it go :)

Carla Dal Col that’s the only reason I’m keeping the Naked 3 as well! It was a surprise from my husband 💕 I have hit pan in like 6 shades but I can’t let it go haha
I dont think you should have to toss it! Find a spot where you can display it. If it makes you happy keep it :). I would consider that a sentimental item, something i would put with family photos etc

I like colourpop but they do have more fallout than I normally like. For the price though I think it’s still a good deal, the payoff is great.

I would love to see a video on your favorite cool toned palettes!! I was against cool tones for so long, but recently decided they just look better on my skin tone. I only use the Naked 2 palette though and would love more options.

Your decluttering videos, parts 1 and 2, are the best decluttering videos I have seen! You go through so many palettes in just enough detail to really educate the viewer, so interesting and informative! You also get right into it, whereas a lot of other influencers just bla bla bla and then show a couple of products and that's it. Love it!
I force myself to use all my eyeshadow palletes. I'll use one. Put it an a separate drawer, repeat for my other palettes and iI won't go use those palettes until I've used all my other palettes.

That’s a really good idea ... I somehow managed to buy around 60 palettes (counting ones I decluttered) since March and there’s a couple I have only swatched.

what a good idea!! i make a list called “use those palettes!” and i put a tally mark every time i use it. then at the end of the year any palettes i haven’t used ten times, i declutter!!

if you didn't already get rid of them it might be a good idea to make your naked 1,2, and 3 palettes into some sort of display. Thats what I do whenever I get a little unnecessarily sentimental about things like wrapping paper or old paints, notebooks, or makeup I will make it into an art piece to put on my walls or table somewhere. its a nice way to produce less waste and create something cool out of something you love.

Sets are my weakness ... but I try to only buy ones I’m not too jazzed about when they are on sale ... and usually only to get me to the free shipping minimum.

I’m so happy you are getting rid of the original naked palette! I’ve seen so many people say how they haven’t used it in years, they have no pan or no huge dents in the palette but they just can’t get rid of it. Great declutter as always x

I parted with my first three Naked palletes too. I love the Naked Cherry and the Heat. I never fell in love with those either.

ColourPop can go ahead and just take up a whole drawer in my makeup storage. I love their palettes so much. I was finally able to swatch the Berries & Cream palette last week and I was flabbergasted by how incredibly buttery the shadows felt! Definitely impressive and now on my list, lol.

I feel you on the naked palettes! I have naked 2 & 3 and I’m not sure if the formula has changed because they’re a few years old, or if I’m just used to softer formulas like Anastasia, but my naked palettes suck lol sooo hard to blend and get pigment, yet they make it through every time I declutter, the nostalgia gets me 😂😭

I completely understand what you meant for you and the ACE Beaute Grandiose palette. I am a lot more fair skinned than you, and it's my go-to warm everyday palette. I LOVE IT, but it is also perfect for my skin tone as an everyday warm toned palette. My friend has this as well, and for her it's super SUPER subtle (which is her thing). I am glad you made this series.

The original naked palette introduced me to matte eyeshadows. I used to only wear shimmers before trying that. My most used shades in the palette were the two mattes. I wanted buck in a single.

You did an amazing job, especially with palettes you were wavering on!! Setting a great example which shows just b/c we may not want to to declutter something does not mean we shouldn’t! My rule, if it has “unique shades” to my collection, but I go 6 months w/o needing that palette for those special shades...👋🏻👋🏻 bye bye!! However; if I’m being honest, 🤦🏼♀️ I MAY let those decluttered palettes hang out for a couple of months before sending them to new homes, lol 🙈. This has put me in the mood to clean though! 🤗💜😘

I had to declutter my Too Faced semi sweet palette. The formula was completely dried out and difficult to work with. The shadows were not blending that well and it absolutely killed me. I did manage to pan the original Too Faced chocolate bar by the end of 2016. I did a major de clutter of the shadows that I had since 2014 and it made me realize that I need to use what I have before purchasing more or they'll go bad and you are essentially wasting your money. Especially for the normal population who doesn't receive PR

Emily L I figured you could. I see people sell their PR all the time. One of the girls was selling her diffywear for almost full price. Like 10 different pairs of glasses.
Poshmark has recently been cracking down on selling used makeup (even if it’s powder products that have been sanitized). They’ll remove the product and then email you.
Don't you think that if you save a little more money you can actually buy the product new? Like.. i know you can have it for less and people clean their products very well but i keep in mind that make up is like your panties..so personal.. and the product start to their expire date since you open. So if it's true you can buy something for less, it's true too that you are buying things that has been open for years...

I love this video! Your declutters are so relaxing to watch. Some I watch I wind up yelling at the screen " WHAT does it LOOK like!?" because so many just don't show the palette or describe it like you do. 😂💀 I am now on a no buy so with Boxycharm I just know I am in for a treat this year. I want the soft glam and sultry! I own norvina and subculture but declutter modern renaissance. Naked Smokey naked cherry and naked heat are my jam! I just declutter my naked and naked 2 I panned naked 3. The life’s a festival the razzle dazzle and the chocolate gold are my new favorites besides that I love the bon bon and peanut butter and jelly.

You should try more BH Cosmetics. I love the Desert Oasis, Zodiac, and the Weekend Festival palettes. I always overlooked the brand, but I discovered how nice they were over the last year or so.

I just finally got the Dominique Cosmetics Berries & Cream palette last week!! I was at a conference and literally had my bf go to my house to pick up my Sephora package with the palette in it lol I was afraid to leave it on my porch like if it was a jewel or something lol just used it today and really enjoyed it!! ❤️💋
