To be honest..then Dell Bios is nothing but a pain in the bum. It, after night closing of electricity, starts up that Fuc..... Bios . So the startup takes around 3-5 minutes and it start on the external screen. so I have to do ctrl. alt. del. to make it start on normal screen. It dos not care about the settings I try to set on; for instance time and startup settings. Sorry Dell I will never buy You again..for this reason- I read all one can do to change things on my Optiplex...It dos not help
my dell 14 5425 wont start after an official DELL AMD update. Not even the Dell logo is showing up. I hear the fans, see the keyboard lights. Any idea?
I have a dell xps 13 9315 laptop. When I turn the power on the dell logo, it hangs for about 5 seconds, then turns off the power (when only using the battery) and when I plug in the charger, the device turns on and goes into windows normally. I replaced the battery but it's still very difficult to turn it on when using the battery (it takes 3 or 4 times to open windows). I updated the latest bios and reinstalled windows but it still didn't fix it.
My laptop won't turn off its just stuck on the opening screen "Alienware" and my backlight is flashing rainbow with the power button flashing 3red 6blue and on one of the dell websites it says its a bios system incomplete. this is most likely due to my accidentally shutting down my laptop in the middle of a bios update.
1:28 what if here you have Power Status: Inadeqate. because there´s no battery... I`m stuck here. Bios is corrupted so there´s no way it could boot, Boot Recovery Menu is launched but as I have no battery, it won´t let me continue with the recovery process. It´s an Inspiron 14 P69 or P89....
Windows upgrade bricked my Dell Inspiron 15 5311. The upgrade got stuck for several hours, the CPU fan stopped and there was no option other than interrupting Windows upgrade. That destroyed the hardware. What was i supposed to do? Let it burn my house? I have tried everything and I can't find a way to reset, restore or install BIOS. A new motherboard costs more than a new laptop. Never again DELL . Poor design and no prevision for BIOS troubleshooting.
If you are reading this never buy Dell. Why the heck would you clowns send something as dangerous as a bios update through a windows update? Now the bios update you sent was corrupted and now my client is stuck with a $1500 brick.

I regret using Dell because BIOS settings are too complicated (Dell Vostro Bios 3670)
