Are these the projectors from a previous generation Honda Accord with halogen projectors?
This is from a Prius but many Subaru and Toyota use them. Not Honda, sorry.
Thanks for the reply! I have the Morimoto H11B Kit for the Honda Accord, however I notice slight light bleed above the projector. Besides that, the output is even, wide, and somewhat sharp. Can the existing projectors be modified for better performance?
Do those have the bulbs on the side
Christian Esquivel bulbs are straight not on the side. Project was on my 2012 Prius.
Do HID bulbs seriously damage halogen projectors, or is that something that you're told so you'll do a retrofit?
most aftermarket HID bulbs simply don't have the proper UV coating built into them so you do generate quicker wear and tear on halogen projectors. Some projectors just aren't up to the task of long term aftermarket HID use. It really depends on the model but in general if you have a halogen projector, HID is the way to go in terms of bang for the buck.
@@LightwerkzGlobal so what are some of most quality made aftermarket HID bulbs, and do any of then use Philips capsules?
@@dylangajdosik964 Morimoto is great but even then, nothing beats Osram or Philips which is the best reason to go with a true D2S projector.
