:) I'm a cyclist in the first place and recently sold my mint condition Mercury Cougar Bostonian, at 70,000 original miles. I LOVE my Engwe T14 (even thought I'm getting a Ford Ranger pick up truck soon enough) I get my errands done funner < :) I love cycling this way. Funner :) and a blast I recommend.
I purchased this bike but I had to return it because they lied when they said 400 watts. It's power is more like 200 watts. And not to my surprised it's been discontinued by them. They also said the battery is 20ah but mire like 15. And the crank arm pedals wasn't as powerful as a chain. Love the design but I had to return it.
Thanks for video. l had this bike recently and l don't know if it has a problem. lf l push it when it's switched off, lt seems very stiff. Does anyone else have this problem or is it normal. Thanks.
i have the bike and the pedal gearing is asinine, its like going nowhere...that is the huge downside to the bike, everything else i like, although ive also upgraded the hub motor to a 1000w hub motor, which is much better...i think im probably going to add a chain, chainring and a cassette to it eventually as well....
hey Andy, that is great! you sound technical with the upgraded motor, are you carful.. yea the pedal gearing should be improved i didn't know before bought it.. but i still like that it is chainless, until i have to change the back tire i guess haha.. but we will see.. having a gear system sounds ideal, if you have the technical skills.. great job! ;-)
Andy, l believe you can change the pedal assist levels. There are +/- symbols next to throttle - almost invisible. Not great, but seems to work. BTW, do you find the bike hard to push when the motor is switched off?

sorry to here that.. first you have to unlock the bike to get to the 400 watts.. i have been mentioning it but.. good luck with the new bike! ;-)
Good day. How many kilometers will this bike travel in electric mode?
prize
Do you know the brand of batteries used ?
Have you tried Engwe GT5 as well? strange it is cheaper than X5s though has higher specs at least on paper. chainless is more of a con than pro to me.
..no not yet, maybe in the future thanks!

..indeed not very useful for just cycling..
I see you have the 15Ah battery.
What's the average range so far? Thank you
..never ran out of juice, but haven't been far yet.. check ua-cam.com/video/tXG5KbLu-LU/v-deo.html

unlocked it goes about 30 km/pu.. for me that is plenty driving in town, i'm faster than the rest and saves me time.. i am happy with it..

Hi Andy, How is the bike holding up? Do you know the weight of the bike including the battery?
