Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 чер 2024
- The world’s fastest speed cubers use this method to solve the Rubik’s cube under 5 seconds and break world records, and it’s surprisingly easy to start learning.
In this video I give an overview of what the CFOP method is, how it works, how speedcubers get so fast with it, and how you can start learning it.

Well it sucks because I learned nothing from that
With this video, I went from averaging 1 minute 12 seconds, to 42 seconds!!! Keep up the good work!
Great
My average is 47 seconds while using begginer method for first 2 of the layers and cfop for the last
I hope i get19 second solves
What would you attribute your speed to? Do you have the 2 look pll and Oll cases memorized? I average around 2 minutes but I’m able to do the cross and f2l fairly quickly I just don’t have the pll and oll cases memorized
@@craftboy5956 that’s a weird average bro
I believe the phrase is. How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go? lol
Yes
It's a Fish not a Rabbit
@@johnsalvadorplaza3286 Not from my neck of the woods unless you are referring to As easy as shooting fish in a barrel! but that is not in this case. Go figure.

I had a cube 30+ years ago and just got myself a GAN I carry because my 4 year old showed interest. Thanks for this series
My exact story, but my kid was a little older.
Wow it’s crazy I came into this video thinking I’m going to learn a completely new method. I learned how to solve over 10 years ago.
And the way I learned was indeed beginner cfop
I think I’m more of intermediate cfop now after watching this. Gonna look for that vid now.
wow! great video! Thank you so much!
Thank you it helped a lot😊
Great Video! I've been trying to learn using the beginners method of CFOP, 2 look OLL etc. And I was overwhelmed by so many ways, some advanced, some have 57 algorithms. But, with your video, now, I know how the advance cubers get so good. I have a long way to go, but, there's hope! Thank you! Subscribing.
I’m also trying to do crop

@@thatspeedrunnerdude7121 he changed it, like five months ago..
Seems PLL is opposite of beginners method for the 3rd layer as in beginner method you get all the corner pieces in the right location but not necessarily facing the right way then you do a separate algorithm to rotate them properly to finish solving. It sounds like in PLL you want all the yellows on the same side but for example you may have the red/green/yellow corner on the blue/orange yellow side but the yellow still facing up
yeah
Great video! It really helped, now i have an avrerage time of 18.40 secs eith beginner cfop. Thank you!
lol please you didnt improve just from this video
I just started a couple of days ago on the beginner method, im at 2 minutes rn, 18.40? Damn I’m trying to solve it in less then a minute lol
@@mexicanpilot684 I assume they also used the full tutorials they have for each stage
I’m so excited to do this bro. My current method is very strange but unique. I do beginners method first and second layers then go all out with cfop last layer. So I’m looking for videos that get deep into learning f2l. The first results confused me.
Hey, ik its been 3 months, but look into ridos hunting method. 2 weeks of on and off practice, and I know most f2l algs without even learning any of them lol
same
I Love it
I don't know what R. U. R. U means cuz I taught myself how to solve a rubiks cube. So it's refreshing to see vids like this that teaches you without using short terms
Damn you taught yourself. You must be a genius.
You are a legend
@@silverpenetrator739 fr I have mad respect for anyone that taught themselves
unbelievable
@@silverpenetrator739 Thank you, but to be honest, I'm just a commoner. I dont get high grades in class. For me, learning rubiks cube (3×3) is just a series of trial and errors and it's just a matter of whether I give up on learning or not.
I'm not a genius, I'm a freakin stubborn man refusing to give up
HES BACK!!?!
Super helpful video! everything makes more sense now
Thanks i now know the cfop method
Thank you so much
Omg. All these years where no one wants to teach me, the steps here is what i actually came up with to learn to solve the cube without rotating the cube too much like a spoiled brat.
Thx man
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THAT IS FLIPPIN FAST
Thanks man for this video i was just kinda confused on the cfop method after i learned beginner method so yea thanks for this vid it helped me! :D

I've got a question. The beginner tutorial that I've learned from is different from the way that you talk about it in the video. Could you send a link to the beginner tutorial first, so I could know which one I should learn from?
This is the method I use but I need to invest is a smoother functioning cube
this broke down all of the steps better than how jperm did. Well done!
“So your gonna need to learn algorithms to be more efficient” goes on without telling you the algorithms*
Because it's clickbait. The best thing you can do is downvote the video, report it as misleading text, and then block the channel.
I made my own algorithm for the middle edges but I still can’t memorize the last layer
I use a type of the begginers method and average around 1:20 but I have gotten sub 1 min
I’m a mix of beginners method and cfop and average 45 ish seconds and best is 32 secs
sammeee my average 45 sec too
but my pb is 28 but it was luck cus i skipped pll

im confused on the cfop method and only know how to do the normal way i have tried to get in touch with j perm but did not reply pls help
Beginner cfop solver averaging 50 seconds.
Me using cfop for 6 months doing f2l in about 3 minutes.😂
With this method I went from 30 seconds to 10-15 seconds
I used the fish method
Thank you I WENT FROM 1:37.99 TO 17.33
Fr???
What are the notations for 2 Look oll
Bro please tell me how do you control your cube?
Cuz when I try to go fast I tend to overshoot sometimes.
Tell me how you control ur cube so effortlessly?
Place your left index finger at the back of the top layer to prevent overshooting when doing fast U or U2 moves. Other than that just practice and you’ll get the hang of it :)
@@ParadoxCubing Thanks man. 😁😁
Im still stuck at f2l😩
When did you start uploading again? I feel like I haven’t heard of you since 2016
I haven’t been very active since 2016/2017, but I came back a few months ago and have been uploading consistently, and plan to do so for the foreseeable future!
now i average under 1 minute depending on the scramble but idk what I am gonna average after the method
is it worth it too spent hours learning to make my 1 minute begginer solve 50 sec?with cfop begginer
Yes, if you want to get even faster. With CFOP you can reach sub 20 easily, but with beginners method it’s near impossible.
@@ParadoxCubing ok then i will start give me one week

Bro I live in the same city as this dude (kinda insane cause small city)
Oof so happy I know f2l coming into this lol
Every “pro” cuber always tells me “you have to learn algorithm” but nobody even wants to tell me what the fuck that even means
The algorithm is the one thing they're not going to show you. Those little kids you see speed-cubing, they were taught to use certain steps to solving the cube. But, it doesn't make for good television to mention that fact. Most of the YT videos out there do the same stupid, selfish thing. They don't actually show you the algorithms.
@@atlantic_love It’s so unbelievable. A few days after I wrote this comment, I actually learnt how to solve it. And i’m willing to show anyone the easiest way on how to solve a rubik’s cube because it’s not that hard, people just make it hard.
@@totallyale Then do so. Otherwise you're just another imposter looking for likes:-)
Hmmmmmmm...... nice
If I could ever solve it in 5 minutes I’d be happy
@@stephaniestuff I solved it by following along but have since found a new hobby
NEVER EVEN TOLD F2L PROPERLY
hi, I cant get sub 30 and I don't know why?
I know full
PLL and OLL plus all the best algorithms for most f2l cases (over 100 I think)
I know VLS and all my algorithms are under 2 seconds long my cross is 1 second on average and I have very good f2l look ahead
I was a 2-minute solver after learning beginners CFOP so I learned full OLL and PLL I was getting 1:30 times still so I got all my algorithms down to under 2 seconds
then I learned most f2l cases. I was getting 50 second times. so I learned VLS and advanced cross.
I am still getting times of 30 seconds with a PB of 30.76 so what am I doing wrong?
Hey can you post your splits? Like how long you take on each stage (Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL). If you know full OLL+PLL, your last layer should be at most 6 seconds unless you turn very slowly or have trouble recognizing. And if your cross is 1 second (well done), with good F2L lookahead and efficiency you should easily be able to break even sub 20. Something doesn't add up...
@@ParadoxCubing My recognition times alone were around 10 seconds and I got an 11 second time while timing my splits without pauses so that might be why.
maybe you need a different cube? other than that ig keep practicing
The guy who was sitting next to the kid at the starts face was like :000000
So I have a question, I'm a big noob. I can't solve the cube with any method and am wondering if I can learn cfop without learning the beginner method?
It’s definitely possible. Try learning CFOP and see how it goes. If you are having a lot of trouble with the intuitive parts (mostly just F2L) then just learn beginners method first to help. The cross is the same, and you can easily do 2-look OLL and PLL instead of beginners. It will just take a bit longer, but if you have the patience go for it!
@@ParadoxCubing hey thanks for responding I didn't notice you replied! I've mastered the beginner method so it's now time to learn cfop!
Bro its 3am for me and I am under my blanket trying to learn this method...
I actually have been working on f2l all week and I can’t get a single pair in!
How do I learn the algorithms for each step?
Search j perm on UA-cam and type the step

im too impatient with the F2L. OLL I easily understand, PLL i understand, its just F2L that I'm too frustrated to get. I'll probably come back to this at some point, but I'll stick with solving the 2nd layer one by one.
