Ach, a wee gurn from time to time to time helps the heid👍🏼 She’s moving well, once everything is fully cleaned and lubed she’ll be perfect👍🏼 I loved Ivor the Engine 😊 Have a nice day Patrick
I was a bit scunnered last night after a scunner of a day! 😅😅 Nice weather here today, I'm getting my work done now and hitting the road in the afternoon.
After filming one of the Jouef final drive gears one a pickup bogie wheel did exactly what was to be expected of it: it began slipping on the axle. Fixed it with ballbearing retaining compound. Video 49 will be dedicated to this classic Jouef defect.
For cleaning the tracks I have a cleaning gum (Roco 10002), I press it against the metal track edge and go along - it cleans very well and very quickly, practically in two minutes I clean both circuits, that it is like 15 m. I've seen a lot of opinions on youtube about cleaning tracks, that liquid affects the metal track, that gum does this and that, some skillful guy said the good and regular trains run is the best solution to have clean tracks. I guess it's a matter of preferences. Thanks for the video, have a good day!
I'll have to try a track rubber. At the moment I clean my track with a cotton bud steeped in lighter fluid. When you run trains constantly the track stays clean, but you have to keep the locomotive and rolling stock wheels clean. I've noticed that plastic wheels gather the most dirt.
Sì i Mehano sono ottimi, ma quelli fatti in Slovenia sono meglio della produzione cinese, sono più legnosi in manovra. Quando aggiungerò l'anello esterno al plastico questo "made in China" verrà riservato alla linea rapida esterna.
