15:23 I love the simplicity of the table, yet it yields so much useful information. You also explain the concepts without unnecessary information, direct and to the point. Awesome job!
I love your video and I really want to follow the step, but indirect function is not working for some reasons. It kept saying that this leads to an error. Any idea?
I also have a problem with the indirect function. An error message that says, “This entry leads to an error. Try entering different values to continue.” Do you have a fix for this problem?
use these steps: 1. Set Up Your Lists on the Other Sheet Go to the other sheet (let's call it "Lists"). In one column (say A), create your list of income options: A1: Income, A2: Salary, A3: Side Hustle, A4: Others In another column (say B), create your list of expense options: B1: Expense, B2: Food, B3: Fuel 2. Create Named Ranges Select the range A2:A4 (Income options) and name it "Income" (go to Formulas > Define Name). Similarly, select the range B2:B3 (Expense options) and name it "Expense." then follow this video
@@DocRemy69 Instead of abandoning the project, I kept going and did the rest of the spreadsheet, that is the only formula that I had difficulty with. I wondered if it was the version of my excel.
I can only get 1 side of the dash board working . I copied and pated the formula and changed from Income to expense and the expense shows zero . Everything else works . New to Excel and have been struggling all day on this . I even tried Define Name as one comment stated but no luck . Like how simple this tracker is but just can't figure out the issue .
For some reason, the Dashboard is not working for me. My formula is exactly as yours in the video is. Where could the error be? Edit: Your explanation in the "Dashboard" portion of the video needs some reworking.
Around 18:16 min you said we should chose the F something key,i cant figure out what you are saying due to the accent and im stock there.please can you tell me the key you were refering to,will really appreciate it thank you
How do you merge dates of expenses and income used or received on one date instead of repeating yourself? e.g 01/01/2024 income 1000, 01/01/2024 expense 400, 01/01/2024 expense 300.
appreciate you that was very simple and helpful for me

Did you ever get a fix for this problem?
Fantastic video. Thank you!
Do I need to recreate the table for each new year, or will it automatically separate the totals by month for 2024 and 2025?
13:11 the things doesn't come automatically in my case👀
1:12 not working in my case

Ever figure it out? Having the same problem.
Nope.
OK, I read the comments, I am not alone.

I'm not sure what he said, but you want to press F4 to add the $ around the cell number. -- I listened again... what he said was "the F4 key"
F4 key, if its not working then try to Fn+F4 key, I think it will be helpful for you. Thanks
Very helpful video for me
thanks
I use the google sheet is too available, this metod
Off the top of my head, I think everything will work 100%, especially because the formulas and functions used are in both applications.
