- DT-8380 is a non-contact handheld infrared digital thermometer, for a temperature range from -50 to +380°C. Feature wise and in the specs it is very similar to DT-380 thermometer.

Thank you! I had bought a similar thermometer some years ago and I couldn't find the manual to use it, because it needed to be adjusted with the emmisivity value (I learnt what that value it needed was, thanks to your video). It seems to be a helpful tool to use in my electronics projects and I was trying to find a way to use it. Thanks again!👍👍😂😂

Almost perfect review, Kinda wish you test the max temperature though using some high wattage heating element. Minimum kinda hard to achieve as Liquid nitrogen is kinda hard to get
Thank you for the feedback. There is actually one test measurement of a hot plate at 6:11, with a result which is above the specified maximum temperature for this thermometer / out of the specified range (although, without a proper reference measurement we cannot know how accurate it was.).
can it be used in for human body?
For human body temperature measurements I would recommend you to search for thermometers that are dedicated for that purpose only.
