It's nice that Russia has joined other countries in supplying much needed weapons to Ukraine to defend itself against the Russian invasion. The tanks and other vehicles are a good start. They are still having difficulty delivering planes and helicopters though. They seems to have some issues with delivery as they are always broken beyond repair on arrival. Maybe they need to apply some more bubble wrap.

To be honest this war is just a civil war. This war is more complicated than what it shows on the outside. You can't just full out say that Russia is evil. Or say that Ukrainian are evil. Everyone has a good point for their actions. Ukraine is just defending. And Russia is trying to stop nato expansion towards Russian borders.
Just blindly listening to one side of the story is not enough. But hopefully this conflict will be resolved.

Yes, but the Russians almost never fight in cities, most of the battles are fought on the fields and roads, on the outskirts of cities
If tanks are accompanied by infantry as doctrine prescribes, they're still plenty useful. The point is not to use them as battering rams, but to have them take out enemy strong points from afar so that the infantry can advance.
@@peabase Putin's infantry in front of tanks are facing gizmos and thingimajigs from the west that are designed against armored vehicles. I guess the Ukrainian citizen army is also firing them at the orcs' infantry.
@@francissantos7448 If the Russians are clever about it, they'll tunnel though buildings rather than move through the streets, where they'll be ambushed for sure. More likely, the Russian commanders will send in Asian conscripts or Syrian mercenaries as bait so that the defenders reveal themselves. It's quicker that way and Russian casualty figures don't seem to matter, to say nothing of Syrian casualties.

Ukraine is the defining moment of changes in warfare. Tanks are obsolete.
People have been saying tanks are obsolete since 1918. They really aren't. Tanks used properly in a properly trained combined arms battlegroup as part of a manoeuvre warfare battle plan with effective logistics support, good infantry support and effective air support are actually unstoppable.
However when obsolete tanks crewed by poorly trained conscripts lead by nodding yes men, unsupported by infantry and unsupported by logistics are sent into battle, they simply become motorised coffins.
Its not the tanks, its the doctrine misusing the tanks. Tanks should have close support infantry that maneuver together. Americans do this not just with infantry, but with support vehicles like the M2 Bradley. Russians don't do this, they mostly run around in just an armored column like clowns.
People are shocked at their losses, yes. But they're not surprised by them

This is not a fair place to evaluate their importance because usually the technology of the attacking force is usually better than that of the people being attacked,
Ukraine is a case in point, if they had to stand alone then Russia would have rolled over them, but they have been given advanced weapons to aid their defence from first world powers.
This is what brave people and the right weapons can do against an unprepared army, Russia always had numbers, but they lacked leadership which is why so many generals have died trying to get this disaster back on track, Russia is not nimble or subtle because they have used their strength like bullies to bend people to their will, if anything this has only highlighted their lack of skill in the modern world of warfare.

Ukraine was already a neutral state until the invasion of Crimea in 2014, when decisions to protect its territory were taken into account to join NATO. The Russian ambition of this country is to take the area as if it were the Vietnam of today. Putin is disappointed with this regrettable onslaught with many deaths. Russia is paying and has to pay even more the price of this unjustifiable war.
Putin also threatened Sweden if it joins NATO. Does he think Sweden is weak ? Does Sweden have nuclear weapons ? When Putin finds out, it will be too late. Se upp Putin , du är på svarta listan !

Mark my words, the common Westerner is just a vote bank for the politicians that rule you. The common Westerner has had most of his aspirations fulfilled and has a higher quality of life due to better economic state. Hence, he/she is least bothered about what is happening in the world. Now to rally up their support, make something seem fashionable and trendy. Then it will become cool for them to support the cause whether they understand the genesis of it or not. Nah... Russia is treating Ukraine like it was Afghanistan and failing worse than they did in Afghanistan. Putin doesn't care how many Russian soldiers die in Ukraine, he wipes his ass with them, just as he disrespects Ukrainan lives. All he cares about is going down in history as a dictator that made Russia great again. Another thing he has failed to do by turning the richest countries against him and refusing to trade with Russia. China is rich, but not rich enough to save Russia's economy in the long run.
