This is as close to a non-Finnish full Käärijä gig that we are going to get at the moment it seems. He is booked in Finland until the end of the year, apparently. So the rest of us have to wait patiently. Or fly to Finland. Or re-watch the YLE gig over and over. 😄

The backing singers are singing. If you know what Käärijä sounds like it's easy to tell the difference. He is definitely singing live. It's not his fault that your hearing or comprehension is bad.

It's interesting that, aside from not grasping the concept of several singers on the stage, people really struggle to hear the difference between live and recorded? Especially at a gig where he talks a lot between songs, you can CLEARLY hear what the mic setup sounds like. There's really no way of mistaking this for a recording unless you're trying to.
