How to make ceramic beads

This tutorial shows how I make ceramic beads using a coil and dowel method. No extruder necessary!

Great video! About how long do you wait for the clay to harden?

I let the beads dry just until they hold their shape and no longer have much give. Length of time really depends on the weather, but sometimes it's about an hour. You can put the beads in front of a fan to speed up the process to 10 - 20 min.

Hardware stores like Ace usually have some long metal tubes like this, you just have to cut it down
