Hey everyone, just to clarify-I'm enjoying my trip overall, but the guide wasn’t great. He started off fine, but things took a turn. I’ll update you soon! Sometimes we don’t see eye to eye with people, and that’s okay. I still had a good time in Afghanistan 🙏🏾
Hello my dear sister i am from afghanistan what is the problem with you please tell me so that i can file a complaint and you will surely get justice if anything please tell me
there is a really good afghan guide who speaks fluent English pashto n dari called noor ahmad ansari who has a UA-cam channel as well called ‘Travel with Noor’ I recommend him as a guide
Hello, sister, you can find very good guides from Bamyan. The people of Bamyan and all the central regions of Afghanistan are better educated than other provinces of Afghanistan, and the people are very nice and humble, and they also have low expectations, and the number of people who speak English very well in Bamiyan and all the central regions of Afghanistan, where the overwhelming majority are from the Hazara ethnic group, are more than other regions of Afghanistan. You are right. Your current guide, who is a Pashtun, is a very selfish and arrogant person, while he is your worker and should do his best for the better. Doing what he gets paid to do, but he acts like he's working for free
I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with the interpreter and the individuals at Bande Amir. Unfortunately, the current generation may not always meet expectations, and the impact of 20 years of occupation has influenced the behavior of some young adults. It’s possible the interpreter was relatively new to the role; discussing your expectations with him in advance might have helped align his services with your needs. While it's understandable that you shouldn't have to instruct him on how to do his job, clearly outlining your expectations could have been beneficial. Please keep in mind that service standards can differ from what you might be accustomed to in the US or Europe. I hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.
@@AfGG random guy in our religion not allowed, maybe you not Muslim that is way you angry, i already have fun with my family and someone like you can't do anything
Just tell him when you're surrounded by men to step up and intervene to feel comfortable. I'm sure he's a good guy but needs clear instructions. Get the best out of your trip and don't focus on small bad things. This is what live is all about. Take care and enjoy the best of Afghanistan.
I think the most beautiful thing in this world is seeing people from different places and culture smiling and saying thank you to each other, that's really amazing. By the way thanks for showing us the beautiful country of Afghaaaaanistan.
@@LTU-r9s he speaks both fluenty in the video, why are you saying he doesn't? He just doesn't seem to be good at including her in the conversations when it is his responsibility to do that and keep her engaged.
His comment about "no more videos/photos" is unacceptable since he agreed to work with you knowing that you’re a content creator. Capturing content is a key part of your experience, and he should have been prepared for that. It's also important that he understands the role of a guide extends beyond just showing you around. He’s there to be your translator, to assist you when you're feeling uncomfortable, and to ensure that you're having a positive experience. While it's understandable that he might have gotten distracted by the men, as these situations can happen, part of his responsibility as a guide is to remain aware and attentive to your needs. If the connection between you two isn't working anymore, it's entirely within your right to find another guide. I think you should also make sure they understand your expectations & priorities in what you are looking for in a guide. Hang in there sis and don't let this ruin your once-in-a-life experience! 🧡

Hey sister! Please make sure you get your guide from the Hazara people as they are very generous and respectful, unlike Pashtuns most of whom are rude and violent.
I appreciate your efforts, but as an Afghan, I feel that your perspective doesn't fully capture the complexities of our situation. It's important to recognize that only a small portion of the population-around 15%-supports these extremists. Additionally, the harsh reality is that women are currently denied access to education here. I hope you'll take these points into consideration in the future. Thank you.
