  • In order to reuse old glass beer bottles that you have lying around you need bottle caps and a bottle capper.
Some of the equipment I used in the video in order to bottle the beer:
    6.5 gallon bottling bucket: amzn.to/2NXeC6k
Bottle wand and silicone tubing: amzn.to/3sKIVMf
Red bottle capper with caps: amzn.to/2PwtLfp
    Beer bottle brush: amzn.to/3uO0vkh
Make sure to check out the website for more information on brewing!

I like the fact that you didn't bother taking the labels off. A lot of people freak out about that, I don't personally. Good video, Cheers!

Haha, ya I should have commented on that. Call it lazy but its so much more fun when you walk into a brewery and people said he brought Modelo to a craft brewery! Then they try your homebrew haha! Best Modelo ever. You can't even take the labels of the new Stone bottles so that sort of stinks too.

Cheers I use to bottle and cleaned my bottles with a drill setup I made ,and a bottle jet.

Drill setup? That sounds interesting! I probably won't invest in a bottle jet since honestly I think everything in the industry is moving to canning, soon it will become the cheapest way. Especially since its becoming harder to source free bottles when every microbrewery is canning now.

Is it necessary to brush and PBW before each bottling?

I found two beer bottles at my schools pond. My mom broke one accidentally and I still have one left. Its also the only one that was dirty. I've tried cleaning it out with water, stuffing a rag in as much as it could go and using a long thin rod with cleaners at the end. Would like to know any tips for getting the muck and grime out

That's pretty hardcore. Honestly I wouldn't risk using an old pond bottle. Usually, when I look into the light and see scum in the bottle I will discard it to the recycle bin. It's not worth it and there are plenty of bottles around.

@@frugalhomebrew2111 Yeah well I'll keep it as a memento Until I can properly Buy bottles. Not yet at the age to drink unfortunately. 2 years till that happens.
