This is a video of a "frame buffer flyover" captured by Haywire as it dumps itself to the video memory of my computer. The sequence was then "post processed" in order to smooth out judder caused by the act of reading pixel data back from video memory - by increasing the frame rate from 25 to 125 fps. The data was also transcoded from the Infognition capture codec into WMV-9 and then uploaded here.
What you see is an "infinite hall of mirrors" effect done digitally. The screen contents go through a warp-perspective transformation set to a typical "flight simulator" style projection (backwards).
