Those cases look cheap and very annoying to remove the discs, steelbooks would have been better.
Slightly nicer packaging would have been nice. This kind of set is odd, because the price per film is actually fairly high (~$24) but the cases look like something you'd find in a cheap "Season 3 Box Set" of a TV show that was never that popular. Combine that with it having 23 films, making the total price a hefty sum to drop on a franchise where people probably already own several of these films, and it becomes slightly confusing who the target is. Cheap packaging, premium pricing, and 10+ year old movies that seem to be marketed for collectors that are coming in late to the series. Steelbooks would have added some extra incentive for picking up the collection.
I have the set. Thankfully mine all slide out perfectly except my iron man 3 4k got stuck. So i wiped the inside down and it has been perfect ever since. No damage ever, no folds, all smoothly slide out and play. So im happy but yes i would personally prefer normal casing or something better then these sleeves

I'm more of a DC guy absolutely but I got to say they came out with better Marvel Films than they did DC but I do think Man of Steel is the best Superhero movie I'm not sure about ever but damn close to Superman 2 with Reeves and 1989 Keaton's Batman are hard to beat them 2 movies far as Marvel I do Love Captain America The Winter Soldier the Freeway / Bus scene might be my favorite fight in any Superhero Film

I have all 23 steelbooks and I tell you what, the artwork and quality of the steelbooks are unmatched! Plus my steelbooks look pretty nice all lined up in my movie stand!!

I think this is Disney at work. I had similar packaging for my Star Wars collection. They could have added a center finger hole to help assist you to slide the discs out. I guess it is more environmental to have cardboard than plastic holder, but I don't like these.

Tri Duong That’s a fair. I always thought the Doctor Strange Cinematic Universe edition had excellent packaging. It included a plastic slipcover that stands up to shelf-wear much better than the typical cardboard one. Would’ve been nice had they used something like that for this set.

If you bought them all individually yes your buying cardboard slip covers which I love and a very big fan of but to say that this is the definitive Infinity Saga, it really should have been Steelbooks. The box is very nice. But 550? Maybe I would do $350 as a collector but no more that that. I love that box though. With that color. Very nice. I want it just for that reason alone.

Supply and demand at work here. "Cheaply" made or not, there were far fewer of these things produced than there are MCU fans. Prices are rising daily on the secondary market proves that out.

The placement of the disc is very bad and in unpleasant condition. Also why that case is from a cardboard and the bottom right is crop, not a fully four shape. Bad design. IMO.

It’s nice they made a set of all the films but this is really cheaply packaged and bad. Though I do think they’ll do a cheaper priced and better packaged set than this one.

@Edster III it should be cheaper cuz it’ll basically be a reissue of this one. Why put out an already high priced set and then release a newer one but even more expensive but no one buys them except the minor collectors? That’s just a dumb idea overall.
The outer case is nice but it seems they cheaped out with the inner cases, I’ll think I’ll keep my 3D and steelbook releases, and just try and find the exclusive bonus disc online

Spine art that combines to form a set is always nice. It's tricky to do something like that with initial releases, but it's always a good detail to include that goes that little bit extra to make the set stand out.
I’m curious how the people that buy this and never watched Incredible Hulk will react to banner not being mark ruffalo.

They should have been tiny steelbooks for esch one if them, the complete picture would have look more even and not folding. But i love the big red box

The packaging of this set is terrible, and those cardboard sleeves is strictly forbidden. I wouldn't pay $100.00 for it! I rather have the individual 4K releases, with their individual cases and cover artwork.
You can't pay $100 for it. You'll need to pay upwards of ten times that amount now due to the ebay scalpers.

This is garbage quality packaging that I know from experience with similar sets will eventually break down with use and damage the discs over time. This very disappointing from Marvel. They could do better but that's not how a product like this gets made, someone at corporate calculated the cheapest possible way they could put this together to make a profit.

While the packaging looks astonishing, I’m not too wild about the discs being housed in paper sleeves and constantly having to pull them out and slide them back in. I think I’ll stick with the MCU Phase volumes from the UK

Same here. I did buy the phase 2 box set, but that included alot of extras where as this really only has just the bouns disc. I still hope marvel will release a phase 3 box set sometime soon.

I just wish that there was a 4K/3-D/Blu-ray release of this set (it must be because I’m from the UK and we still get 3-D Blu-ray support especially from Marvel Studios).
That would’ve been the only way I would’ve purchased this set because just having the 4K/Blu-ray for me personally couldn’t really justify if I wanted to import.
The picture in the Captain America: Civil War case shows Spider-Man and Falcon with a quote from the latter.

I thought that The Black Widow would retroactively be included in the Infinity Saga. They’ve got 5 years, (the 5 years of the Decimation Era from End Game) to catch up on so I figured that each movie between now and 2023 would take place either in the past or the future and anything that takes place in the past would get included in this set. But, they’ve released it now, not in 2023, so I guess I was wrong. Maybe they’ll re-release it then with the additions.
Should've had matte steelbooks inside like that _Real Ghostbusters_ collection that Time Life Video released in '08. That would've been real nice. As it looks now it seems kinda "style over substance". Or "presentation over quality" in this case. Could've still been kinda nice if the quality control wasn't complete shit.
For as expensive as it is, this was made pretty sloppy. I wanted to get this, but it doesn't look worth it at all

I received this set as well. I have to honestly say that I am extremely unhappy with the quality of this set. I'm borderline about to send it back. I am a physical media collector and have a bunch of collectors editions so I'll probably keep but I'm extremely disappointed

Absolutely sir. Like what was shown in the video with the cardboard sleeves that are creased on mine as well but also the disks with mine are even harder to get out out with glue dots stuck on some of them. Inside where the printed signatures are is just pressed into the underneath of the lid where the corners are bent. The spines on each case don't sit flat to display a perfect picture also shown in the video. I understand that I'm getting technically 46 moves with digital codes, but I'd really like to see plastic trays for the disks to rest in for $550.

As much as I like this set, a bunch of cardboard sleeves are totally not worth $500. I'm very happy with all my MCU steelbooks.

Could you imagine for every Avenger movie that it focused on one of the Trinity? I thought that's where it was going when the first Avengers 2012 case was shown and it prominently showed Iron Man. Age of Ultron could have focused on Cap, Infinity War on Thor, then Endgame on the Trinity. How awesome would that have been? Very disappointed with the box set, thanks for uploading and letting everyone see it!

I hate that they used the logo rather than movie poster for the covers. The Avengers logos always annoyed me cause they don't use the same one for promotional products.

They give you 4K discs, and Blu-Ray discs. But-what if these peeps that purchase it don’t HAVE a blu-ray player? I’m sure that many people do and have made sure that they need one, but seriously. I still really want this tho....
Edit: I also feel bad for you. All the discs basically look the same, and you didn’t HAVE to show us. It could have saved you a lot of time. GREAT VIDEO THO!
I'm honestly torn on the artwork, color and quote choices on some of the films: like the one that bugs me the most is Civil War; instead of Falcon's quote, it should've been that of Zemo on dividing the Avengers, and I would've put the Cap vs Iron Man shot instead of that of Spiderman. Or in the Ant Man movies I would've put one of Hank's quotes; even in Endgame, why not put the portals scene or "whatever it takes"? There are far more iconic quotes from each film than some of theones chosen tbh....
Call me a nerd, which I'm not it's just simple math, but buying this set is actually cheaper than buying these movies individually (unless you have access to place where you can get them for cheap). The cost of 1 movie ranges from 20-30 dollars. So let's just say you get Blu-Ray (≈ $23); that's $23 × 22 = $506
4K (≈ $32); that's $32 × 22 = $704
With this, you get unique artwork, the boxing, the signatures, the letter, Blu-ray, 4K & digital code for what? $550. The only thing I'd have to agree on is the fact that it's not a steelbook, and that each case is just cardboard.
This is exact. I don't understand where people get their entitled bitch fits from. If you only have a few of the movies and want the whole collection, this actually saved you money. And you get a nice collectors item on top of it. People make no sense...

It is totally unacceptable for such an expensive collectors edition to be housed in cheap cardboard that will eventually become damaged and deteriorated over time. It should of been sold as a collection of the 23 movies in steelbook cases.

9:23 - I hate that type of packaging, and this is exactly why. The adhesive either doesn't hold, and the cardboard flaps come apart, or the adhesive gets on the discs and ruins them. What a slap in the face to pay $550 for this thing and get a fake wood box and cardboard disc inserts. This is worth $250, max.

When they had the Phase one in briefcase and then phase two in orb, those were cool but this is just disappointing.
So disappointed Australian version downgrades all the 4k versions to DVD but I'm still probably going to get it.
