US shameless missed the point, their version is a dramatic, tragic blahblah drama, every character is the worst human being, Frank is unredeemable, almost everybody hates Fiona..UK shameless is a comedy-drama about family, Frank is a total jerk, but he loves his children. Dgaf about camera quality, UK shameless always will be the best.

I have spoken to Elliott tittensor and he was genuinely the loveliest guy. Shameless is my childhood. I learned a lot as I was 12 when it started. Realised I was probably gay too watching it😂Sheila, Norma, Yvonne and Veronica are my favourite female characters, Marty, Frank, Carl and Micky are my favourite male characters ❤
Everyone is discussing comparisons and tbh it is not even a valid discussion since they are different shows. Had home team Shameless maintained the quality of the first three series plus retained their cast, I'd likely have said the UK. But the US is not presented as seriously a lot of the time as UK was. It was like a comedy with serious drama thrown in to take you off guard e.g Liam ingesting Fiona's coke or Monica's attempt. Whereas the UK focused on the seriousness and captured a council estate so well, with humourous side plots flung in. US Shameless definitely fleshed out the Gallagher kids personalities better Plus the US started out with the same storylines but diverged by the end of Season 1 and from Season 2 onwards. TL:DR: different shows, both great in their own way. Stop denigrating one or the other.
4:38, Why did she whisper that she plays a lesbian, is she ashamed of it. I mean i know it's around 2005, but people then were more open minded, as they are now., what a terrible thing for her to have been numbered with playing a LESBIAN.
