I tried this driver last week and was very impressed. Very straight hitting despite my swing. It also looks good although the stretched out back takes a little bit of getting used to. Like most new drivers it is not noticeably longer than my Epic, but it is a lot more consistent and definitely calmed down my "over cut" (we do not use the "s" word!)
Bought the Callaway b21 driver last week finally got to the range to try it out and I must say I was very impressed with it I usually hit a fade but the b21 turned it into a long power cut for me and I gained 20 yards best money I ever spent and it goes straight
Never watched your reviews before; very decent review and good to hear two different opinions. Also thank you for saying it was Conway golf course! I was sat thinking I know that course and couldn’t think of its name!!!!
Love the 55g stiff shaft. Just put a SIM 9 wood in the bag almost got laughed off the course until I started hitting 200 into a green and stopping it. Never be afraid to change.
I don't have a slice problem but I bought this because most tester's are hitting it farther, I have it set in neutral position at 11.5 loft and hit bombs straight up the middle, great driver !
Great review, the thing is if only callaway could sell this at £250 !! just imagine how many middish to hi handicappers (who class themselves as genuine regular golfers club members/society members) would probably buy this, they would be flying off the shelves, but £400 to £450 ? American golf have them for pre order at £450, must admit though im retiring next February and that driver may be a treat to myself (after testing) even though there are reviews that question the looks the performance seems to be up there with the rest of the big boys drivers. Cheers
I've just upgraded to this club from a great big bertha 2 I bought in 2006 . I've only had a couple of rounds with it and hit some decent drives but the 2006 is longer and more accurate. I'll persist but there could be a cheap driver going on ebay soon.
If you set up a driver, or long clubs like long hybrids or 3woods, to be Draw biassed, what it does is mentally gives you the freedom to relax and feel something is there to help you from the big Right miss. You can of course still play a fade (unless it is CRAZY left biassed) but it gives you more confidence to go at the ball. Now, if you suffer from the crazy hooks, may not be for you - but what I think you are both expressing is it's an easy Driver to hit - and for nearly everyone, that is the definition of a gamer.
I have been playing the Rogue driver set on 8* draw for the last 3 yrs. I thought it was time for a new driver, so i got the Big Bertha B21 because of them claiming to take the fade or slice out of your drives. I have the B21 set on 8* draw and still same as with the Rogue. Also, ball flight is alot higher with B21 using same shaft. Really too high for and distance for me. I hit the Rogue high but not as high as the B21 and i got more distance from the Rogue. I have played 5 rounds now with the B21, and also i have the project even blue stiff shaft in it, i can use same shaft for either club. So, B21 did not take my fade or slice out, and about the same distance as Rogue , but not quit.
That club looks great. I love the elongated back. Reminds me of my Taylormade Tour Burner i used to hit bombs with. Have a Taylormade M3 at the moment. Could this be the the one to pull me away from Taylormade drivers?
Silly Question perhaps, but where are you playing? I actually like the look of this course. I used to play at Gerroa on the course they had near the beach in australia (very "hilly") but great views all around. And i like the look of the course you have. I have the 6 hybrid from the big bertha line, I enjoy it to bits. Very solid club. Glad to see the rest of the set might be useful as well. Nice video
thanks lads for another great video, looking for draw bias driver for my slow swing speed of only around 80mph due to arthritis and rotator cuff injury, do you still consider this an option? looked at the Stealth HD but just couldn't gel with it , thanks a mill and have great weekend
What course is that as I’m sure I know the hills in the background. Is it Prestatyn golf club ? Good review of the driver . What shaft do you have on it .
@@TheAverageGolfer OK, here's a suggestion: go to a quiet part of the course. Hit 5 drives with one and 5 drives with another. If the new driver is consistently longer I'd be more willing to try / part with 400 quid
Just what I like to see, a man who has a left to right shot review a so called slice killer driver, most people won't even review this driver because they all hit draws when most amateur golfers hit the cut/ slice shot off the tee with driver, and if they do review it they never use someone who has the left to right shot, which the driver is targeted at, nice review mate👌
Great review Andy and a fine club . But now for the ultimate challenge on the course the BB21 driver at £399 against the Wilson Launch pad draw biased driver at £249 I mean £150 less like many Wilson products good looking, perform well and save you a fortune look at your excellent D7 iron test. Wilson seriously? Seriously!
To bad I already got a new driver this season, this would fit right in my bag since I always need all the help I can get. Great video by the way. I like the colors and feel in it. Great job!
I can understand why lou doesn't like the look of the driver. He's a red head and prefers the orange maverick better maybe ?🤣 good video Andy 👍 definitely will take a look at it !🏌️♂️

@@TheAverageGolfer . Agree with you partly, I can afford it but being a high handicapper myself I certainly wouldn't be spending £400 on a driver, I like most I assume would be looking at second hand ones a couple of years old for half that price on ebay etc. and waiting for a second hand one in a year or so.
@@markfogden4549 I've found the Gold market to have gone a little mad over the last months. I saw a Cobra F7 (or was it a F9) 3 iron hybrid go on e-bay for £95 at the weekend. You can buy a new one for £130 at the moment! Also seen with Golfbidder that a lot of the premium drivers from 2 years ago still go for £200. Which is why I decided to go for the Mizuno ST200, which was £300. Such an improvement on my (now sold) Titleist driver.
I just hate ALL of the new drivers getting longer and longer in the back, like an airplane body. Its just ugly as hell, and I could never buy anything that looked that way. You see... I grew up with WOOD woods, and they look too outerspacey to me. The very first stainless driver that I bought, which was the exact same size as the tiny wooden heads, I was able to hit those 280 yards. If people would LEARN how to hit a driver, they would not need to go this way with them.... just sayin. I do love the Callaway LOGO and that headcover, that YOU hate...lol
The name Big Bertha originally came form a very large German gun. However, since then it has come to describe an overweight woman. Google the term Big Berta Fat Woman and have a look at the images returned. There was also a comic book called Big Bertha about an overweight woman who could expel her fat through her mouth to take on a slimmer profile. That’s called anorexia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Bertha_(comics) Now I am sure the Callaway makes great products but I have three daughters and I want them to grow up loving the body that nature gave them. Therefor, I have made the personal choice not to own products branded with the term Big Bertha
I've just bought one of these, I know I'm a little late to the party but I'm looking forward to trying it out either way.

yes best club in my bag, takes a lot of pressure off my game , especially long par 5's
I'm surprised he doesn't like the look of it I think it's a beautiful driver.
I agree. I like the color scheme a lot and I prefer the shape. It's funky and I like it and it performs.

As this is quite a big looking club from above is it a bit shallower than most? I prefer a shallow we driver face personally.
Did you have the club face square at address or off set to target.
Just bought this with a Tensi White!

The fact that you can go after it on your swing and not worry about it going high right must be great.

Andy what shaft and flex did you and lou test?
How is your distance compared to your current driver
Good question. In future videos it would be good to see you hit your current driver and the driver you are resting on each hole
That could only be determined by identical strikes Fran, swing speed, angle of attack etc etc in reality most golfers dont do that
