I’ve been dealing with kid craft right now on some Warranty parts for the wood on my place set. They have been responsive to the point on asking me for receipts serial numbers, pictures all kinds of stuff. It’s like an act of Congress to submit anything for warranty. The wood is warranty For like 10 years and I think the plastics warranted for one year. All in all for 1500 bucks it’s not a bad deal. If you really want something premium with good customer support you’re gonna be spending double for that play set $3000 on sale for a rainbow playset which is like the Cadillac of play sets. Especially if you can find this one at Costco on sale for 1000 bucks or 1200 bucks and it’s actually a really good deal.
@joshcsrahomes they were very responsive on the one year warranty items but can't get any responcd for the warrantied wood. Good luck, hopefully you can get the replacement parts. Definitely a good value for what you get and the playset is nice, I just wish the customer service would match the advertised warranty.
Wonder if they get their wood from Menards? I bought "landscape timbers" from Menards 3 years ago to redo a retaining wall. Last summer I seen the boards were already rotting, in fact one that is above the level of the dirt has completely rotted and is crumbling. I would think landscape timbers should be good for ground contact. Wish I could find some old school treated lumber that might be toxic but, at least last for more than a couple years. Good thing you went with their plastic lumber to do the retaining wall around your shed.
Somethings definitely are not as good as the used to be! The playset is made in China so there is a good chance that is part of the problem. I bought some landscape timbers from menards a few years ago and I agree, not what you expect for what they cost!
@@k6outdoorsYep, If you buy landscape timbers from Menards also make sure you use them fairly quick. Had one that didn't get used and when I went to get it to replace the one that rotted. It was so warped there was no way to ever get it put in place.

There are likely several different options but concrete seems like it would be best fitted. Although it seems like a ton of added expense. It's unfortunate the materials used don't seem fit for ground contact applications. Thanks for stopping in!
Amma be honest , I know how to restore wood and plastic and prevent ( slow down ) from wearing off . I just pick one Copper-Based Wood Preservative, some stainless steel elbows and hinges and nails , maybe spent like 50-100$ on material reservation and it will last you longer that the warranty , just gotta be handy and know what you are doing .
Yep agreed, many ways to help prolong the materials life, just frustrating that the cedar playset is degrading so quickly. Thanks for stopping in and happy holiday's!
For mine, I i built a pressure treated four by four rectangular frame and put deck boards on top. I put the frame in ground bc it is rated for ground contact. These big box cedar sets are NOT rated for ground contact and WILL ROT. I inly know this bc i was gifted a similar set that was just sitting on the owners grass lawn for years and it was rotted terribly.

Get what you pay for. A real play set cost 5k + . I’m building one of these as I’m typing this and I can tell it’s a economic solution to a play set. But by the time it breaks down my daughter will be too big for it
I get it but at the same time don't offer a warranty if your not going to support it, that's my main gripe with this situation. Thanks for stopping in and happy assembling!
I wish they still had this one. I bought one for the kids and they loved it, left it at the old house when we moved.

It's still available. Just bought one today.
@cesarrosales3409 you don't have a link by any chance. I dont see it on the site.

They have it online and in store right now
