The Princess of Wales visited the University of Leeds on Tuesday where she met students on the Childhood Studies programme.
Kate discussed the importance of early years development, asking the students about their dissertations.

Pure class. She's incredible and it annoys people, because they know it and they don't like it. Doing things like this, going out engaging with all kinds of different people, will always be more classy, sophisticated, and pro active, than doing a netflix documentary where you moan, winge and complain about how hard your over privileged life is.
What was the purpose of the event. I'm American and we don't understand why these people get this money for smiling, waving, putting on costumes to go to these events? So glad we had the war of independence. There's no way you could have a cost of living crisis and a Royal Family in the U.S. sheer nonsense. Wake up U.K.

As someone who had to deal with a lot of issues growing up, and in an environment that was not good for my mental health, I applaud and appreciate all the hard work that the Princess of Wales does for the Early Years. I’ve supported her work in this initiative for years and will continue to do so. God bless her and may she continue to expand this important work. Love from the American state of Mississippi!

Has she got one of those T-Shirts with 'I heart people' on it, or something? How can you tell that she likes people more than my butcher? I bet she doesnt! He just loves them coming into his shop, puts aside special cuts for his favourite customers, particularly families with lots of kids and the elderly, for whom he always throws in a bit extra - particularly around Christmas. He even saves bones and off cuts so the elderly can treat their pets. Its way beyond what he - and his family - need to do for reasons of self interest. You've never seen a person full of so much cheer and good will. Now he definitely likes people. When has Catherine given anyone a bone?

@FelisDomina Just trying to do my best to be of assistance. So much work to be done. So much hatred and bigotry to be undone. I really didnt know there were so many people affected by mental health issues. Some of them are quite unhinged. Im just doing what I can to make them less dangerous, I hope. Frightening to think you could be standing nex to one in the street.

Catherine, just like William, makes a point to put people at ease as soon as she sits down. And she does it so well. Her smile, hand gestures, a little humor, eye contact--these all make people feel more comfortable in her presence. She is so wonderful!

Why honoured? How do you 'have' her, say more than any other celebrity you like? What does she deserve praise for? Not to put too fine a point on it, but she only had her photo taken at a publicity event. Nothing wrong with that, but you do realise that she doesnt do any of the actual work. Anyway, I only ask because 'honoured' seems such a self deprecating way to describe your reaction to her. You do realise that you are not her 'subject' and that you support her and not the other way around?

Besides the fact that she is considered lazy, even by royal standards- which is really saying something, she is completely devoid of any admirable qualities and her public appearances are for her benefit only. Not necessarily. The way things are going demographically she will be lucky if she gets to be queen. All depends on how long Charles lives, but if hes got another couple of decades in him, it is highly unlikely that there will be an apetite for another changing of the royal guard. Besides, there are persistent rumours of a strain in her marriage and it will be interesting to see if she choses to cut and run when it becomes obvious that her prospects of becoming queen have disappeared.
Only half of what I said is fully true, the latter being partly a subject of objection and outcome. US patriots/UK Revolutionaries would argue that the UK public may not have an appetite for another coronation but as a UK patriot, I would argue I am confident in the UK public approval of another changing of the guard despite all of the UK’s current crises

Consider that she will be a queen consort someday, it is a wonderdul idea to do this life work project. It will so benefit for her and her husband as a monarch, and also for the people (kids that maybe already become adult when william become king), so it is important to build the future from now as her role as Princess of Wales. If Meghan could embrace her role too, she could be a patron of diversity comunity, or whatever it is which really close to her instead of against it and leave the company... She will be loved by many many people.
Someone who accepted the job, dedicates herself to it and positive results come out of it. Kate is walking example of grace and duty. Unlike others who wanted the job but only for the benefits, resigns cos she couldn’t be bothered to work but kept the title and still complains about it 3 years later.
