I know the graphics and details are going to be top-notch, but the gameplay itself has to be a step up from previous R* games - GTAV and especially RDR2 were too restricted in the way you had to do missions, unlike how it used to be in San Andreas where you had more freedom on how to accomplish a mission. Mainly, it needs to be fun.

Also, main way people play GTAV wasn't playing through the missions and more so just playing in the sandbox,, so improvement to mission structure is somewhat irrelevant to the sale. He's intensely loyal to his friends (even though Michael betrayed him) and that's reflected in both of the endings too where he accepts death if Franklin goes after him and disgust if Franklin murders Michael. He views himself as an uncle to Michael's children. His abandonment issues are quite extreme so he kidnaps Ron and Wade and brainwashes them. And of course, he's deeply ashamed to be Canadian. haha
i dunno bg, i have faith that rockstar can deliver on these visuals. They delivered on every other reveal trailer all the way back to gta iv which was my first gta. When i first saw the reveal of rdr2 i thought it would be impossible for them to achieve those visuals, but rockstar didnt disappoint. Physically experiencing this gta 6 on a tv, controller in hand, hud and everything is a very different experience to watching a trailer. Thats why i believe it will look better than this when we play it our selves. I also think it looks pretty current gen too. I notice similarities to rdr 2 sure, like the way the lighting and clouds are rendered, but everything else appears to be a significant step up from crowed density, to the sheer volume of individual assets on screen. If we're completely honest, this is the most current gen looking game we've ever seen and I imagine the only games likely to meet or exceed this bar are Naughty Dogs current gen game, and perhaps Crysis 3.

When it comes to the release date. I think it's pretty accurate that GTA 6 will release in 2025. Because Rockstar past two games, they have a history of releasing them about 2 years after the first trailer. For example GTA 5 first trailer came out November 2nd 2011. And the game came out September 17th 2013. And same with RDR2. The first trailer for it came out October 20th 2016. And it released October 26th 2018. Now sure during those times they did delayed their games but they still ended up releasing them 2 years after the first trailer is my point. Because I think the lesson they learned from GTA 5 & RDR2 is that they've been releasing their games 2 years after the first trailer. So they came to the realization that it's best that we give a release window that's 2 years away. Instead of a year. Because if they give it a year. More likely they might have to delay it a couple of times. So a 2 year release window gives them more room to continue working on the game without having to delay it so much from it's announcement.

The drift shot seemed pretty legit, otherwise it looks like in engine animations that you'll probably watch in third person perspective instead of a cutscene etc. Anything with cars seemed like actual world simulation though
