- In this video we're taking a look at the DJI Mini 3 pro. This drone is the 3rd iteration in the DJI Mini lineup. The DJI Mini 3 Pro has tri-directional obstacle avoidance and boasts some pretty wild flight times depending on which battery you get. The main point of the DJI Mini 3 Pro is to get under 250 grams in weight so that registration is not required in most countries. For anyone reading this, to tell if your charging using a 30+ watt charge, the battery indicator will flash fast. If under that amount it will flash slowly. I believe its in the manual.

As far as landing goes, on my drone once the app says "Landing" I do have some control but it is minimal. For example,, I was able to maneuver it from our lawn onto the sidewalk for a distance of approximately 12 inches. I definitely agree with your observations about return to home landing.
After I updated my firmware again I'm getting the exact same result as you. So whatever firmware I had a week or so ago didn't allow the finer tuned landing. Thanks for pointing that out! I still feel like it's less than other models but I have no way to quantify that haha
@@BreakItYourself So If I have low power and im flying with force landing, I cant move my drone??
You can abort the landing by gaining altitude or cancelling on the screen. And in a recent firmware update you can now move the drone a few inches in all directions once the landing sequence starts.
A lot of amazing features on the Mini 3 Pro. It’s definitely called “Pro” for a reason.

in my experience obstacle avoidance doesn't always work- I haven't crashed it ... yet... but I will not count on that in the future
I've had some crazy good success with it then other times some baffling poor performance. All in all, like you said, it can't be trusted. Skydio seems to still be the king so far.
Actually the drone and remote kinda let's you know that you are not getting the full charge of you are using a 15 watt brick vs a 30, the 15 watts will display slower to full on the lights and the 30 wat will rapidly blink when it's getting faster charge

And my favorite part was the 5 hours to charge the batteries with one lead, the drone over heating while the endless updates up date, firmware updates up dating, had to put a fan in front of mine to stop the over heating while updating prolonging the job even more, battery in drone needed recharging after the updates it took so long before i could fly, but its a very well made drone and i cant wait to fly it when it finishes up dating
Tip: you know the foam it came with that was put behind the camera use that as you put the cover on
excellent tip! I'll have to dig mine up. Also I'm sure after a few months it'll become second nature
Hi and great video by the way, now quick question once those two inbuilt batteries in the RC controller start to fade can that RC controller be opened up and the two batteries replaced? I understand it will take time for the inbuilt batteries to degrade over time but always nice to know if they can be easily replaced or not as I am sure other people would be interested to find out as well?

Been using the Mini 3 Pro for the last month and enjoying every minute of it. Watched your video to learn about the fast transfer feature but dont quite understand what you mean about the drone have to be open to get the full speed
I agree that is missing a few things, like a individual case, charger as they don’t cost much as is made in China anyway. The bag I feel is very small.
Interesting on landing because my mavic air was accurate but it had precise takeoff.
I've just recently purchased the Mini 3 Pro RC with Flymore Combo. My drone is not flying Left or right in BYPASS mode.
Have you or anybody had this problem and how is it corrected?
which ND filter do you find yourself using the most.
For full sun I'm going with ND64 24 fps and 1/50 shutter
they blink faster when using a 30w charger though.
Maybe my 30 watt charger isn’t really 30 watts 😂 because when I tried different chargers I didn’t see a change 🤔 Guess I should do more testing
Use my Mini 3 every day and never ever had an issue with the gimbal cover. Just clips on and off in seconds.

That last issue is a big issue.
turning the drone upside down to shut off is not a good idea mate.
Review who bloody cares
A bit of a note as a lot of videos keep promoting dcinelike but for the average user you DONT as you will find yourself you can’t transfer to your phone because of the unsupported codec content.
I preferred I was warned but none of these videos mentioning it. You can’t transfer 10bit to your iPhone.
