One of the things I LOVE about Prabhu-sir's choreography and the way he directs it is that the more you watch this and his other dance numbers, the more you can SEE how he frames and stages everything. NOTHING about the way he does this is "static"; there's always something going on in the background. All of the dancers have something different to do, and it's all interesting. I don't know how much MTV he was exposed to coming up, but the influence in the rapid-fire editing, the colors, even the costume choices is there, especially in "Saree Ke Fall Sa" and "Mat Mari"!
